Do you think Obama’s poll numbers and the numbers for his agenda would be where they are if people weren’t getting informed. If all Americans did was watch and accept what the nets and CNN and MSNBC and the Times and WaPo had to say we’d be awaiting the final state’s yes vote to repeal the XXII amendment. The effects of the web and Fox and Talk Radio have opened the floodgates on information and people, way beyond the arbitron numbers, have used it to inform themselves of this regimes perfidy. And let it be a lesson to our side when we regain our country, thatthe people’s interests must be respected and they must be told the truth.

This article is right in keeping with the “hide the decline” emails in Climate-Gate. This now appears to be a fundamental plank in how the left does business promoting its agendas.

The media blackouts, - like , DOJ New Black Panther case, are part of how the Left conduct business. We may see a more aggressive push toward control of the Internet --

These past few election cycles, the Democrats have refused to participate in debates moderated by Fox News.

Now that these MSM sentiments have been leaked out, how can any other news outlet call themseleves fair moderators and questioners of election debates?

Exactly, I’ve been pointing this out. The final debate moderator between McCain and Obama had a pro-bama book slated to be released on Jan 20, 2009. It was in her own interest to see Barack win the presidency.

A rigged debate (and there are those who say Hillary was given the questions in advance) is a rigged election.

The 21 scandal was nothing compared to the rigging of the election.

Don't agree - some are getting informed albeit too late, but many in America are no more informed today than on Nov 1, 2008.

A poll found voters were twice as likely to blame President George W. Bush than President Obama for economic problems.

Even if the questions posed to both candidates are the same and no one has foreknowledge of the questions, the entire focus of the debate can be driven by the slant of the questions.

Illegal immigration vs national healthcare
war on terror vs education

Did anyone ask Obama about his plan to cut our nuclear arsenal and opening our missile installations to the Russians for inspection?

McCain didn't even bring up the "Marxism" talk until the final debate. Why no ask him what Marxism means (since he knowingly said he sought out Marxist professors in college) and how his approach differs from Marxism.

Ezra Klein, the 24-year-old American Prospect blogging wunderkind who formed JournoList in February 2007. “Basically,” he says, “it’s just a list where journalists and policy wonks can discuss issues freely.”

But some of the journalists who participate in the online discussion say — off the record, of course — that it has been a great help in their work. On the record, The New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin acknowledged that a Talk of the Town piece — he won’t say which one — got its start in part via a conversation on JournoList. And JLister Eric Alterman, The Nation writer and CUNY professor, said he’s seen discussions that start on the list seep into the world beyond.

Eric Alterman - Nation/CUNY

Jeffrey Toobin - CNN/New Yorker

high-profile membership — which includes Nobel Prize-winning columnist Paul Krugman; staffers from Newsweek, POLITICO, Huffington Post, The New Republic, The Nation and The New Yorker; policy wonks, academics and bloggers such as Klein and Matthew Yglesias — JList itself has received almost no attention from the media.

Paul Krugman - New York Times

Matthew Yglesias - Think Progress (a "sister advocacy organization" of the John Podesta-led Center for American Progress (CAP) - draws freely on the resources of the George Soros-funded Media Matters website edited by David Brock)

Run a push poll then to ask them about the economy and banking collapse.

Then follow up with “Did you know that in 2003 Bush pushed for oversight of Fannie Mae’s accounting and Barney Frank and other Democrats said nothing was wrong and that Bush’s call for investigations was only making the situation worse?”

Give it up - there is not going to be a so called showdown - there is not going to be any revolution. Fat, lazy Americans could care less.

"Give it up."? No thanks. I'm not interested in joining quitters like you. I'll stick with my patriot brothers and sisters who are still willing to stand and fight, and who still believe in America, if you don't mind.

By advocating the "America is finished" line of thinking, you're actually aiding and abetting the enemy. I hope you know that. It's treason.

If this were my website, you'd be banned for saying what you just did.

Beck talking about it now. Saying that the ‘source’ inside the journolist group says this is just the tip of the iceberg but he refuses to release it all because it might hurt the media. ???

It’s time for lawsuits and hearings into our corrupted press.

The economics of wire service journalism unifies and homogenizes journalism. The interests which news wire journalism is united around are, quite simply, their own interests. Those interests boil down to the same thing as everyone else - everyone believes in, and promotes in whatever way comes to hand, his own significance and importance.

The behavior documented in this article is as predictable as water running downhill rather than up, once you understand that journalism functionally is a single entity. They beat up on people who do not kowtow to their own interest. Because they can.

Journalism claims to be objective, because they can. And nobody points out that to claim to be objective is actually to dramatize your own subjectivity.

Okay this maybe a stupid question, but where are the documents and proof. I have always know this to be the case and tell all of my friends that the media operates in this manner but I can only see an article saying that documents state this.
It's not a stupid question, but it seems to me to be an incomplete one.
I want challenges - but what, specifically, requires amplification and substantiation in what I said above?

...these liberals can't see that they wouldn't have the positions, lifestyles, adulation, power....all the things they enjoy if they were living somewhere other than this great nation that began with the unprecedented foundations that this nation did.

That's a key truth, but try getting any hard core liberal to either grasp, or admit to it. Not gonna do it. They MUST cling to their class warfare hatreds to justify their attacks against the majority.

It's a parasitic mindset. Much of the left will never find their way out of this degraded outlook. They're imprisoned, but will fight you to the death if you attempt to free them.

Speaking of Nazis - On this day in 1944, patriotic German officers attempted to assassinate Hitler and overthrow Nazi Germany’

Unfortunately Hitler wasn’t killed and the putsch was a failure, as the German military oath was to Hitler and since he survived they were still his men...

I note the U.S. military swears an oath to the Republic...

Just say’n :-) There ain’t no parallels between our Grand & Glorious El Presidente and Hitler, and the contemporary USA ain’t no fascist Germany!

We be a Free Republic.
