There are allegedly "dozens of Americans" on this hit list who "pose a threat" to the United States. National Security Adviser John Brennan said this:

Obama campaigned on closing down Gitmo, because of all the horrors and atrocities being committed there. By the way, has anyone seen the story covered by Fox that Gitmo inmates are watching "Twilight" on brand new flat panel TVs? Sounds horrible, doesn't it?. But Obama said Gitmo had to be closed because it didn't line up with America's "values and ideals" ...

If you are a documented dangerous threat to the US, you cannot be arrested, or extracted, or otherwise neutralized...Then yes, He should have the option to sign an order for your assassination. Him, or the next President(s).

No offense, but you heard wrong. Plus 'Obama' can't do anything about it, only Congress can. And they did, Congress renewed it. And you can't find any 'source' as that would make Barry look bad, like the hypocrite he is, so the MSM buried it, if they covered it at all.
Your only chance of finding anything is to dig through every Vote Congress has taken, in BOTH Houses, on every little thing, since Barry was sworn in. And that is a very time consuming task. As if you search THOMAS with keyword 'Patriot Act' you prolly won't find anything as that's not the Bills 'real name'.
Bottom line, the Patriot Act lives and Barry is using it. 'Heck' he's expanding it at will.
