Critics blast governor Patrick on illegals

The free ride rolls on for Bay State illegal aliens who stand to score benefits, from prescription discounts to MBTA passes, even as Gov. Deval Patrick tempers his rhetoric on such taxpayer-funded perks during his re-election bid.

“It’s absolutely ridiculous that that is going on,” said Rep. James Miceli (D-Wilmington), who called the lax oversight a “slap in the face” to taxpayers.

Illegals applying for state services such as MBTA discounts for disabled passengers, The Ride, home heating assistance and cheaper prescription drugs for the elderly, aren’t even asked whether they are U.S. citizens.

It's good to see a democrat getting on the band wagon. There are a few here and there who know that criminal aliens are helping to destroy our country, very few though.

.....how is it that American citizens when stopped by law enforcement, must produce a driver’s license (in many cases with photo ID),registration,proof of insurance,is questioned on where he is coming from and where he is going and illegals don’t have to produce anything to get free money?

Hey, what the heck, the country is rolling in money and everyone has a job. Why worry about things like budgets and stuff, it’s only money, there’s plenty more where that came from. Just raise tax...er....um....fees.
