So, she ‘sort of’ apologizes for her comments. On a private email forum.

But we’re all supposed to believe this ‘apology’ really reflect her values? Or how she conducts her life? Pleeeeeze.

Paging Rush: she really, really meant to apologize to you specifically, but didn’t realize how.

What is the number? 1-800-282-2882 during his live program. Or she can also send an email at elrushbo@eibnet.com at any time.

Allow me to employ my liberal to conservative translator: "I sent my email to the wrong place. It makes me look bad. I'm sorry you are all so stupid that I have to pretend to apologize. Can I go now?"

Nicely put! "And you are all too stupid to realize that I didn't actually apologize to the one person I gleefully wanted to watch die."

She may not have meant the apology but am I seeing a trend here, those on the otherside are beginning to realize they no longer have a free ride?

As a previous poster noted, with today’s technology, there are no more gatekeepers. The left can no longer make baseless claims and not expect a blowback (trying to define the tea party movement as racist).

Nor can they spew their hate within the confines of the “old boys network” and not expect it to leak out.

The double standard is coming to an end. You do not like racism, then don’t practice it yourself. If you do not like hate speech, then don’t speak with hate.

Advise to the those on the left, you want to hold the right up to high standards be on notice, you will now be held by the same standards. You no longer get a pass because of your age, sex, race or sexual orientation.

The founder of Journolist, The Washington Post's Ezra Klein, called it "an insulated space where the lure of a smart, ongoing conversation would encourage journalists, policy experts and assorted other observers to share their insights with one another."

I guess that's what passes for smart, ongoing conversation and insight on the left.

Rush would probably say he has heard worse and who is this person again??? Words get thrown around from Left, Right and In between. If we all have not heard a joke (laughed) or not read or heard a derogatory statement up close and personal made against with whom we may differ, then it becomes hypocrisy. I seem to remember old Senator Byrd's passing and unflattering comments made. Flows with the territory like water off a duck's back.

“I made poorly considered remarks about Rush Limbaugh to what I believed was a private email discussion group from my personal email account...”

Translation:

“I’m actually not sorry about my comments. If Rush Limbaugh were to have a heart attack in front of me now, I’d still feel the same way. I am sorry that I was not more careful about to whom I was speaking to and to what I was speaking”.

"....they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life...."

It most certainly does, just because you thought it was a private dialogue doesn't change the way you really feel just because you got called on it. SHEESH!

I'd go for whichever camera setting would get the definitive pick of Bill pushing her in...

(Recall the SNL skit with a Bill Clinton impersonator on Weekend Update reviewing the movie The American President? Clinton's character repeatedly said his favorite part was "The Dead Wife!")

Cheers!

“I regret these comments greatly; they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life.”

I’m calling BS on that statement. She regrets GETTING CAUGHT.

I regret these comments greatly; they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life.

Bullcrap. You were caught, and now you issue this statement. Your demonstrated hate for conservatives comports PERFECTLY with the "values by which [you] conduct [your] life".

Show us you REALLY are penitent by investigating the NAACP and/or Black Panthers.

Won't happen.

Of course, she’s keeping her job. I wonder if she would have kept her job had she said something similar about Jesse Jackson?

She’s sorry she got caught. That’s the real context.

How much do you want to bet that she hates Rush Limbaugh as if he were the Devil but has never sat through even an hour of his program to listen to what he actually says? In fact, I think conservatives should ask all of the liberals who seem to hate and badmouth Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Fox News, or any other conservative personality or souce the question, "So, how much time have you actually spent listening to or watching these people and programs that you hate so much?" I bet that in most cases, the answer will be that they've never listened to or watched conservative media and quite a few will be stupid enough to admit it.

I apologize to anyone I may have offended

LOL... the lamest type of 'apology' possible. In other words, "I feel sorry for anybody that's stupid enough to disagree with my comments."
