What’s sad about it? A couple of willy-nilly, perhaps scared silly, or perhaps even a little trigger happy too, cops, gun down a veteran, and the best you can muster is, “sad?”
This tragedy is well beyond “sad.” Heck, I don’t think his dad is even sad right now. But, he is mad as hell at the LVPD for murdering his son.
*If* this is an accurate transcript and the dead guy did,*in fact*,point a weapon at the cop (or at anyone,for that matter) then it's "case closed' IMO.
Plenty of the early witnesses disagreed with that statement.
It was only later that “some” witnesses said they saw a gun, BUT most of those saw it when it was STILL in it’s holster.
We will probably NEVER see the “real” tapes of this. If the cops were in the right, we would have seen it by now.
