Is this man Obama's worst nightmare?
World Net Daily ^ | July 21, 2010 | Chelsea Schilling

Posted on 07/21/2010 9:25:37 PM PDT by grundle

He could be President Obama's worst nightmare – a business mastermind, a natural problem solver and a black man of "substance" who says he would "take the race card off the table" in a challenge against Obama as the GOP presidential candidate in 2012.

"We need a realistic candidate to run on the Republican ticket who can beat Barack Obama – not just beat the Democrats," Herman Cain, an Atlanta radio talk-show host, former CEO of Godfather's Pizza and 2004 Senate seeker, told WND. "We've also got to beat Barack Obama."

He added, "Obama is a master of rhetoric. He is a master of deceptive language. And any white candidate who runs against him will be up against the race card. I take the race card off the table."

Cain, a devout Christian, emphasized he is "prayerfully considering" a 2012 bid for the GOP nomination.

In addition to serving as the former president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza for 10 years, Cain, 64, is also former president and CEO of the National Restaurant Association and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He's been vice president of Burger King, vice president of Pillsbury Company, a mathematician for the U.S. Department of the Navy and a business analyst for Coca-Cola. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Morehouse College and a master's degree in computer science from Purdue University.

You should know who Herman Cain is before you worry about his color. Look at his accomplishments, compare them to anyone else that might run for the office. He is an American success, he is conservative and he loves America.

Hey Herman, run and win.

Not easily persuaded and wasn’t persuaded at all from the very earliest times on the obastard.

Have to know a lot more before I’d weigh in positively on this one.

a gerbil named “Stinky” will be able to beat obama.

OK, that truly hit my funny bone, and I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

Thanks for the giggle. :^D

Most white conservatives have long gotten over their generic fears of black Americans, the Bummer notwithstanding.

Any president I vote for in the future must be a patriot. We can't afford any more presidents that resent America.

This white conservative fears grifters in positions of power, and marxists in positions of power, REGARDLESS of skin pigmentation.

Sorry for making you think of 0bama twice with my redundant statement.

“Herman is the real deal.”

Yes, I brought up his name some time ago here. He’s quite a guy. I pray he runs, but my only concern is that he’s going to need a lot of votes, from all the usual groups, which will include hispanic, pro-choice and gays. Hope I’m wrong, because he’s pretty outspoken on theissues of illegals, abortion and same-sex “marriage”. Hey, I agree with him, just hope and pray that ALL like-minded people (who I believe are still the majority statistically) will vote this time, with the single-minded goal of defeating BHO. Has everyone learned their lesson this time???

“He’ll be considered “white” and denigrated as an “oreo” by the obama media because he’s a conservative.”

Have you heard him speak?? Let me tell you, he’s just the match for the slickster-in-chief. In every way. And the only one I can think of who’s cool enough to eat BHO’s lunch in a debate.

Now this is a person I could whole heatedly support, especially since he supports The Fair Tax Act(HR25/S296)!

Yeah, but he’s a Republican, so that automatically makes him an Oreo or an Uncle Tom.

Authentic Blacks® can only be Democrats.

Unfortunately, I think there are plenty of people who HAVE developed a healthy streak of racism after Obama. He’s set race relations back years.

I'm afraid you are correct. Herman Cain's resume is impeccable and I would love to have the chance to vote for him again. I was very disappointed that we didn't make him our senator when we had the chance. But if he ran for president we would hear nothing for a year except that he is another lame republican attempt at a token minority. And I don't think Michael Steele has done much to help the cause.

Again - once he opens his mouth, believe me, he’ll put THAT one to rest!!!
