The NAACP is missing an "A" or two

If the NAACP was actually interested in advancing freedom for all Americans it should not have a "C" in its name. It should be called the NAAAAP, ie, the National Association for the Advancement of ALL American People.

They should also not be pushing the un-American Marxist wealth redistribution line which deprives producing people of their freedom and the fruits of their own labor; and they should not be pushing for suppressing the free speech rights of people with whom they disagree.

America was founded on the proposition that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life (not abortion), Liberty (freedom of religion, free speech, etc) and the pursuit of Happiness (including the right to profit from the fruits of his own labor without the government seizing it for the use of others). Look it up.

And we fought a long bloody civil war where men of every color (including the hated white man) fought and died to preserve such equality and freedom and to ensure that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. Look it up.

If the NAACP was interested in advancing freedom for ALL people, it would join hands with the TEA Party which is simply a grass roots movement of concerned American citizens of ALL races, creeds, religions and colors who are working for a return to constitutionally limited government and freedom for ALL!!

As TEA Party favorite Lloyd Marcus proudly proclaims from our TEA Party stage to a cheering sea of TEA Party faces, black, brown and white, "I am not an African-American. I am Lloyd Marcus, AMERICAN!!"

These are the people Booker T. Washington was referring to when he said:
"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs—partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."

I still like to believe that there will be a swift, sure reckoning for the Demoncrats.... the day when enough black Americans come to understand exactly how much and for how long they’ve been used.... for a very disgusting and UNAmerican purpose. That day just can’t come fast enough.

Those guys are ALLOWED to be racist.

Look at the Congressional Black Caucus or the United Negro College Fund.

If any other race tried that they would be slammed, shouted down and probably shot.

True story.

I have been stating this for over the 12 years that I have been a part of the FR. The NAACP, the Black Congressional Caucus, and the multitude of black directed organizations are inherently racist by virtue of their name and reason for existence. I have seen how racist the NAACP is by debating them publicly in Memphis for over 27 years. Not only are they racist, they are aggressively racist and not after equality or truth, they are after dominance. The NAACP is riddled with dishonesty and corruption, as are ACORN and the myriad of black only organizations. Black history books cite tertiary references that are biased and incorrect and touted as the truth which engender hatred and the continued schism made between the races.

There is a point that a lot of people miss. Blacks in the US are treated like dogs.

As long as the socialists treat blacks as second class citizens within their own party by giving them pity rather than treating them as equals they will of course hate those that feed them. Outsiders of the party would be hated even more.

Unfortunately, I think there is just too much money and power at stake for NAACP to give up the victim game.
The NAACP, by its nature, depends on racism and inequality to remain relevant. When inequality and racism aren’t apparent NAACP develops some magical power that allows them to find those traits wherever they choose to look.
Intelligent opinion is powerless against their magic. Critical thinking has no place in a world that equates being a victim to having an advantage.

Another point to consider is that blacks are under intense social pressure to conform to leftist, socialist views. Any black who dares to break out of that mold and express conservative, patriotic sentiments (i.e. Clarence Thomas) are ostracized and made out to be "Uncle Toms".

This is the real tragedy. The Democratic Party seems hellbent on keeping them in the ghetto, talking that "ebonics" trash, listening to that rap crap and walking around with their underwear showing and their baseball caps turned backwards.

Oh sure, some of them are allowed to make it into "polite society" but only if they toe the political line and don't rock the boat. If you dare to deviate from the left-wing ideology (i.e. Bill Cosby), you are immediately slapped down hard.

The only true racists I have ever known are Democrats. I spent the past five minutes trying to think of a single racist conservative that I know of and I could not think of a single one.

I found this partial essay in a FR post 4 or 5 years ago. it was titled "Can Government do the work of God": "Except government rarely does anything right except for those tasks that were explicitly outlined in the Constitution as the Founding Father intended. I could cite many examples (such as where would you rather put $10,000 in retirement money - in Social Security or in your own 401k plan?) but the plight of black America illustrates this failure beyond comparison.
In 1965, the US government was going to wipe out poverty by the “Great Society” programs, in which to date over 3.5 trillion dollars has been spent. These federal programs were designed to “help families and children” or “buy votes” depending on your political viewpoint.
At the beginning of the 1960’s, the black out of wedlock birth rate was 22%. In the late 1975 it reached 49% and shot up to 65% in 1989. In some of the largest urban centers of the nation the rate of illegitimacy among blacks today exceeds 80% and averages 69% nationwide. As late as the 1970’s there was still a social stigma attached to a woman who was pregnant outside marriage. Now, government programs have substituted for the father and for black moral leadership. The black family and culture has collapsed (and white families are not that far behind). Illegitimacy leads directly to poverty, crime and social problems.
Out of wedlock children are four times more likely to be poor. They are much more likely to live in high crime areas with no hope of escape. In turn, they are forced to attend dangerous and poor-performing government schools, which directly leads to another generation of poverty.
Traditional black areas of Harlem, Englewood and West Philadelphia in the 1950s were safe working class neighborhoods (even though “poor” by material measures). Women were unafraid to walk at night and children played unmolested in the streets and parks. Today, these are some of the worst crime plagued areas of our nation. Work that was once dignified is now shunned. Welfare does not require recipients to do anything in exchange for their benefits. Many rules actually discourage work or provide benefits that reduce the incentive to find work.
The black abortion rate today is nearly 40%. Pregnancies among black women are twice as likely to end in abortion as pregnancies among white and Hispanic women.
The “Great Society” programs all had good intentions. Unfortunately, their real world results are that they have replaced the traditional/Christian models of family/work with that of what a government bureaucrat thinks it should be.
I could make an excellent argument that if the US government had hired former grand wizards of the KKK to run the “Great Society” programs, and if they had worked every day from 1965 to today without rest, they could have hardly have done better in destroying black America than the “Works of God” that the government has done or is trying to do."
