The rest of us are scheduled for extermination through lack of care.
Perfectly worded and true for the U.S. now!

Patients groups have described the measures as astonishingly brutal. That's because the country's budget deficit is astonishingly high.

That is a very good point. With a staff of 1.4 million (in a country of just over 60 million), the NHS has an enormous amount of political clout. Any UK politician even daring to suggest cuts to any part of the NHS is going to suffer.

Preview of Obamacare.
“* Restrictions on some of the most basic and common operations, including hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery and orthodontic procedures.
A reduction in acute hospital beds, including those for the mentally ill, with targets to discourage GPs from sending patients to hospitals and reduce the number of people using accident and emergency departments. “
I hope all those Obama voters take note.

Actually, this makes a lot of sense. My wife is a nurse, and they have a lot of patients funded by the government (Arizona). She says the fraud and abuse of the system are staggering, because there is no rationing - a doctor can order as many tests or exploratory surgeries as he desires, and the government pays the tab.
When the government pays for health care, there is only ONE way to control costs: rationing. The Obama fans are just too STUPID to know. The few that do are dishonest about it.

If we treated our pets as badly as the UK is now treating their sick and elderly (soon to be on our own shores) these leftists would be calling the authorities and hauling neighbors into court for cruelty to animals. That's because pets are near and dear to them. Humans aren't.

However, if we just accept this kind of rationing, we'll get what we deserve, but I don't think that will happen. Never heard of HMO's huh?
A young boy, from Maryland, called Levin last Friday and told him of a movie they were forced to watch, no opt out option. The gist of the propaganda film was that it is selfish and unpatriotic for old people to hold onto life, and rob resources from the needy.
Gee where have we seen that kind of Propaganda before, Oh I remember it was in 1939.

Good point. However, the fact remains they’re running out of money. You cannot fund the pensions, the nonproductive bureaucracy and coddle tens of millions of free loaders.

I actually miss my old HMO.
I could at least afford to see a doctor and have diagnostic tests run when I had a health concern.
I now pay $271.00 a month for a plan with a 4K deductable before any benefits at all kick in.
Now I have to save up a few thousand dollars before I can even make an appointment, for what I think may be a serious problem.
Or, I can just quit my job, or force my employer to fire me, in order to qualify for “free healthcare” from medicaid programs I paid taxes into for decades...oh wait, they are cutting those now, aren't they!
