Apparently they have some way to measure usage of it. My sewage usage is always less than or equal to my water usage. I wish it was like my water meter where I could just go to my basement and look at it.
In almost all cases where they claim to care about GAIA it’s straight BS. There are some true believers but mostly it’s a control thing, nothing more nothing less.

On the contrary. They care very much about DEGRADING humans, human comfort, and health. They are doing their "father's" bidding and grinding down these humans to a level of subsistence and misery. It's degrading God in effigy.
However, a refinery produces more than 42 gallons of product, for every barrel of crude oil. Maybe as much as 50 gallons total, depending on the crude and the processes involved. Most of this increase in volume comes from cracking large molecules, into smaller ones.
I'm not suggesting that the author actually knows what he's talking about — his blather about the energy content is pure gibberish.
