This is by far the largest negative reading ever for RCP, and I am pretty sure it is the first time ever that every single poll listed is negative or tied, not a single positive number even in the most biased of polls.

Also, forgot to mention, the 49% disapprove number is especially significant because many of the polls they list have a “neutral” type rating (for example: approve, disapprove, or not sure). Obviously if someone is “not sure” if they approve of Obama or not that’s still terribly unenthusiastic, just a shade better than “disapprove” imho.

Elizabeth was great on THE VIEW because she actually had the guts to challenge Obama on his policies and their effects. Good for her.

Actually I find it very disturbing that 45% still approve of his performance on any level. If this were to stay the same then he just has to convince another 5% to win re-election.

Governing against the will of the people will do that.

I dunno, I would hope that won't give him anything more than few days minor bump. Let's face it, most of the people who watch 'the view' are probably already in his camp. And he did have a gaff, calling African Americans "mongrels" and all, so not sure if it was entirely stellar.

But what will give him a bump, no doubt by tomorrow, is that partisan pollsters will move to quickly output a fairy-tale poll with highly suspect internals that show him with a positive rating. Bank on it.

It is all actually quite simple to understand.

Americans are seeing this government as more of a dictatorship rather than a democracy, a pariah instead of a friend, a renegade more than a patriot, an egomaniac rather than a humanitarian.

-3? Freefall?

Free fall compared to the overall downward trend, yes. Look at the graph, a very noticeable acceleration downward.

Believe me, the dems will notice this.

I never miss the View. I like hard-hitting, thought-provoking journalism, the subtle exploration of issues, the original and profound insights and serious, but never tedious, tone

A lot of them from California were protesting in front of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office yesterday. They were carrying Mexican and Marxist Che’ flags. That so-called “judge” gave them a lot to celebrate. A Marxist/Communist win over Americans.

No actually all he has to do is get a third party candidate to run who will siphon off a few percent of moderates from the GOP and he can win with less than 50% like Clinton did.

I think the most accurate pollster out there is Rasmussen, and that's proven by highly accurate results in many elections, and Ras has him at 47% approval. And that's among "likely voters" unlike many of the other polls.

So yes, at these levels he definitely can still be re-elected. But the trend is not looking kind. This is not the trajectory the democrats need to see 96 days before elections.

Marxists and communists are not known for their deep penetrating economic and financial acumen.

And since Obama is without a doubt a Marxist/Communist lackey, that is why America is experiencing its worst malaise since Jimmy Carter. Obama’s regime is Jimmy Carter redux.

Unless republicans and conservatives retake both houses of Congress in November, I believe we will see another GREAT DEPRESSION in this country only the one we will have will make the 1930’s resemble a coffee klatch or a tupperware party by comparison.
