Taliban Hunt Wikileaks Outed Afghan Informers

Exclusive: The Taliban has issued a chilling warning to Afghans, alleged in secret US military files leaked on the internet to have worked as informers for the Nato-led coalition, telling Channel 4 News "US spies" will be hunted down and punished.

Speaking by telephone from an undisclosed location, Zabihullah Mujahid told Channel 4 News that the insurgent group will investigate the named individuals before deciding on their fate.

"We are studying the report," he said, confirming that the insurgent group already has access to the 92,000 intelligence documents and field reports.

"We knew about the spies and people who collaborate with US forces. We will investigate through our own secret service whether the people mentioned are really spies working for the US. If they are US spies, then we know how to punish them."

The US Defence Secretary Robert Gates said last night that America has a "moral responsibility" to protect those who might be in danger.

"This department is conducting a thorough, aggressive investigation to determine how this leak occurred, to identify the person or persons responsible, and to assess the content of the information compromised," he said.

"The battlefield consequences of the release of these documents are potentially severe and dangerous for our troops, our allies, and Afghan partners, and may well damage our relationships and reputation in that key part of the world," he added

I speak figuratively when I say we all hunt down the Wikileakers, proceed with an immediate trial dispense, mete out the only punishment that will do justice to the nation, our great republic and the American people to have these degenerate traitors hanging by sunset tomorrow, (if only)

A lot of people are going to die because of that little Army fag. I hope the b*tch spends a lot of time in prison. I’ll bet a lot of cons are looking forward to the arrival of the new b*tch on the block too!

They will die because the administration did not redact the parts that wikileaks was willing to have redacted, or take their site down or lift a finger in any way.

On Tuesday, the U.S. military announced that it would press criminal charges against 22-year-old Pfc. Bradley Manning for allegedly transferring classified military information to his personal computer and “delivering national defense information to an unauthorized source.” The charges appear to be connected to the leak of a classified video that Wikileaks released to the public

I don’t understand why no charges could be brought up against Julian Assenge, the founder of WikiLeaks. He knew what he was doing and was warned against it before publishing. It’s absurd that there is no law against such an irresponsible act. Its almost certain that this guy now has blood on his hands.
Anyone thinking of helping US and Nato forces would be too reluctant to do it now.

I read Julian Assenge ask or told the Obama Adm. and didn't recieve an answer so Leaks a plenty dumped them on the Internet.

Anyone thinking of helping US and Nato forces would be too reluctant to do it now.

All the time invested by US and Nato forces to gain the trust of Afghan citizens is gone now. They will never cooperate, they fear the Taliban and rightly so.

Dangerous to elect our enemy to RULE our country. I am thinking McChrystal might have been making too much headway in the war. More there than we know of course. Now General Petraeus' head on the chopping block,eh?
