Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
Yippee!
No big bounce from the view appearance? No one seems to mention that he was going after his core voting group. People who have time to sit on the couch eating bonbons and watching bad TV all day.
Wasn’t he -15 two (or three) days ago?
Among pollsters, how would you or anyone rank Rasmussen in terms of accuracy ?
When we like his poll he is the best, and when we don’t he sucks:). Since 2004 he has been great. When he first started he sucked. He had a learning curve. Now his polls are second best behind Survey USA for accuracy.
I do not know a single human being that approves of this administration.
My 24 year old son is so mad, he could just spit.
The good news is that he’s “working” his peers.
Abyss = (-1) today. Cool.
Obammy is simply a fake, a fraud and a phony. He’s a poseur. He’s the ultimate example of The Peter Principle.
When will our national nightmare be over?
They were dead on the last 2 presidential elections.
“Yippee!”
Not so fast. The fact that 40+ percent somewhat approve
is a dismal view of brain dead Americans.
At least it is refreshing that he went back to -20.
Yesterday, he was back up to only -16.
By 2012, Americans may have no say in who rules them.
Quiet as the media kept it, Palin mocking odumbo for going on the hateful view and not our border made him look foolish
Way to move in the right direction.
His polling is a yo-yo. Someone mentioned that -17 is about right and I agree. One day he is at -15 and the next -20 so average -17 is correct for a long while. I think he is toast but I never thought Clinton would win a second term either so who knows what the voters will do in 2012.
Good point. Its the opposite from the Clinton years when all opponents were "Clinton haters". So frustrating back then. People were making money and many on the right didn't care what he did for fear of spoiling the party. Now people who are for Obama are the ones who have explaining to do.
bonbons? You jest.
He dropped off a little after his “The View” debacle.
The best way to judge would be his monthly average. I’m not sure what it is in July but I’ll give big odds it’s his lowest monthly “average” ever.
Wait until his latest fiasco of decreeing that Illegals really are Legal citizens get settled into the numbers.
I predict that his overall will be in the 30’s by the end of this year.
The next obvious paradigm will be “America - a country at war with its President”.
I can’t believe 44% somewhat approve, what the heck is good to approve of?

44%, HUH
well we have the black population which will never stop voting for him even if he was seen on video saying kill the white arse cracker b%%%% and then hitting her.
then there is the school kid college kid voter which looks at him as more of a fashion than them thinking they have to actually use their brains and see what he is doing to their parents.
the hard core left who don’t even live in this land but instead live in la la land.
sadly this number will not go down much more due to those voting groups plus he has a so called media which to be honest has been the most corrupt in history and there needs to be an investigation .
Chip ‘n dip. (Chomp chomp.)
“No big bounce from the view appearance? No one seems to mention that he was going after his core voting group. People who have time to sit on the couch eating bonbons and watching bad TV all day.”
I have never seen it, but from what I hear, anyone that is so dumb as to watch “The View”, is probably to dumb to find, much less operate a voting machine.
And the RCP average hit a new low today, spread of approve-disapprove is now -3.6% (was -3.5). The “trend” on the RCP graph is looking particularly ghastly for obama. Relentlessly down with brief periods of sideways motion.
I guess that appearance on “the view” didn’t help much.
Enjoy it while it lasts, there will no doubt be a suspicious poll soon that raises his score.
This new leg down seems to have coincided with (1) the Sherrod Charade and (2) more bad economic data causing lots of people to worry about a “double dip”. I’m thinking more (2) than (1). Sherrod affair will have temporary ramifications, economy is ever-present.
Pretty obnoxious. I like my derison delivered with more class.
Don’t be so happy. So far the numbers mean absolutely nothing when Obama still has positive personal ratings ala Ex First Rapist Billy Bob Clinton. What we need is the media and the dems in congress to turn against him but we know that won’t happen. What we need is a voter base that now understands the danger this man and other democrats pose to our great country. And with that, the base needs to vote Dems out, vote Repubs in (assuming the Repubs finally have their heads outta their asses) and be a buffer to stop Obama’s radical agenda.
OK.. drinkin Colt 45 in the big cans.
same here and this is what gets me
on election day I knew about 4 people who voted for him around my area and about 15 people around the country.
Not one of them now likes obama and they want him out.
We don’;t even see any obama stickers any more and why would anyone like him anyway.
He’s a socialist and now acting like a dictator over this immigration debate.
Apparently, the “View” gambit failed. And it would. Women at home out of work or with family members out of work aren’t impressed with smiley faces and baby kissing from leaders who are supposed to be out working.
I keep hoping he heads to Nevada to *help* Ole’ Harry!!! lol
Rasmussen uses a standardized system, so I think it increases the noise in his numbers. I believe he also uses likely voters more often than not, although I’m not sure that’s true in these daily tracking numbers.
Yes, but he is dipping into the -20 territory more and more often. Before, he would appear at -19 or -20 for a day or two after a bad news cycle, but would recover. I think the immigration memo is hurting him, now.
Surely they know that if he does this it means massive unrest, if not blood in the streets, which will clearly send us into depression, followed by the supreme court overturning it anyway. If he does this, the democrats are toast for a generation. Not even obama is that stupid.
you know this and so do many of us but we have to remember most Americans have no clue if he went on the view or not down to the border.
hell I have met people who did not even know about the border or the court case the racist justice depot brought, hell I’ll go further .
There are many out there which have no clue about he black panthers, bill Ayers weather underground, SEIU, ACORN
This is what the Dems and the corrupt media want.
They want a news black out and when we have the likes of Beck(I don;t agree with all the time) exposing the left they get all bent out of shape and try and have him took off the air
knowledge and communication is our weapon.
Tell EVERYONE we know, neighbors, work friends, family, people who we have just met in a docs office coffee shop etc
If we expose the left and the rat party plus the so called media we will win on election night.
November will be the beginning of the end for obummer.
AND THEIR FUTURE!!!
Well Well, this is a surprise. I thought a bump was coming after the “View” performance. Hmmm....
A question somewhat related to the topic of Obama approval/disapproval:
Does anyone know what the latest approval/disapproval ratings are for Obamacare? I read somewhere else that people are moving towards being more approving as time passes.
Oh if GOP has Newt, it is over because people are not going to vote for a guy who has been married three times (at least). No way, no how and that’s not even taking Global Warming into consideration which will cause another 20 percent from voting for him. I know exactly what you are talking about though. GOP will screw it up as they always do.
