Sen. Lindsey Graham, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, warned that conservative critics could undermine the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan.
Graham cited recent comments by Republican Party chairman Michael Steels, who called the Afghanistan conflict a war of Obamas choosing.
Steele said the war was not something the United States has actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in and alluded to Afghanistans reputation as the graveyard of empires.
Graham warned that liberal and conservative war critics could form an unholy alliance, during an interview on CNNs State of the Union.
Graham predicted that some Republicans would argue the U.S. cant win because President Obama has set a goal of July 2011 to begin withdrawing troops from Afghanistan.

RINO’s must go...no ‘and’, ‘if’, or ‘but’ about it. =.=
How did this guy ever get elected as a Republican? What’s wrong with South Carolina?
Steele was right and Gomer Graham was wrong on Afghanistan.
Why doesn’t this little limp-wrist just make the jump to the Dems? You know that he wants to.
He was opposed by a Ron Paul Democrat last time but just about everyone here rallied to Gomer by November. They’ll probably do it again.
Full Mental Jackass.
The conservatives are not in charge.
But it’s interesting that this Bozo was just a few days ago referring to himself as a “conservative.” Maybe that’s what he means when he says that conservatives are undermining the war effort.
Hey...good caption...If I may, I might change it to that on the photo...
Full Mental Bull$hit
So now we are fighting a war in Afghanistan to deny Al Qaeda a sanctuary country from which to launch terrorist attacks. Please note, as George Will did today on Meet the Press, the use of the preposition "from." We were not attacked "by" Afghanistan but "from" Afghanistan.
And that expresses the conundrum. Do we really believe that terrorists need an Afghanistan from which to dispatch 19 suicide terrorists to the United States? Obviously, the answer is no, Al Qaeda can organize a couple of dozen terrorists from any number of countries not excluding Germany or Mexico. So are we to invade and occupy every country which has the potential of being a country from which a terrorist attack might be organized?
Let us assume that all we wish to achieve in Afghanistan will be done, will we be safer? If we chop off Afghanistan will Al Qaeda steel with another hand?
You, you mean he ain’t a democrat??? Sure fooled me,
Graham is an idiot.
What is undermining the Afghanistan effort is Obama.
When McChristal told him a year ago, that the next 12 months were critical, Obama waited 6 months to make a decision to send additional troops, then waited another 6 months before he sent the troops, gave military impossible rules of engagement and announced withdrawal timetable, — he did everything to make sure we lose the war and encourage the Taliban.
I wonder when Lindsey is just going to announce he’s a Democrat? He sure doesn’t represent Republicans (or conservatives) in South Carolina. Total loose cannon. (I’m from SC, and NO I didn’t vote for him!)
George Will was not on Meet the Press, of course, but on ABC.
The word is properly spelled "steal."
Uber RINO Lindsey Ping
"Republican by day, Democrat by night."
Want on or off this ping list?
Just FReepmail me.
Why did you have to ruin my Sunday by posting drivel by this idiot. Perhaps there is something wrong with me, but the mention of him makes my BP (blood pressure not British Petroleum) rise faster than the mention of even hag Nancy Pelosi.
Does Linseed ever shut up?
