Count me among those who’d really like to get a good long look at Barack Obama’s college transcripts — not because I think they would provide evidence for any of the crazy conspiracy talk that infests the fringes of our political discourse, but simply because I want to know what the man studied and what his grades were.
For instance, I’d like to know whether he took any economics and how he did in those classes. I’m also curious about what his literary studies were: especially, I’d like to know whether the man who wrote two self-important memoirs before he’d done much of anything interesting with his life is sufficiently conversant with the concept of hubris that he might take a moment for self-examination — because, as the economy slows and the government debt stacks up, the hubris is not the only thing around here looking Greek and tragic.
I agree with you. What matters is what he’s doing—and damaging—now.
Here where I live, you need to pass a test to be a licensed manicurist. Bet he didn’t even qualify at THAT level!!
To me, character matters. And Obama has none.

I wish Palin would push the issue of full obama disclosure as a matter of defending attacks on her resume/intelligence...
I worked for a lot of lawyers. We (the underlings) had a joke - “how hard can law school be”? There were some real idiots who apparently made it through law school and passed the bar, though I can’t imagine how.
How come grades, SAT scores, police records for any Republican are always available but nothing for Obama? I know silly question. You never heard that Gore flunked out of law school and had worse grades than Bush until after the election.
I just broke up with a woman “earning” a phd. Dumb as hell.
She can do research and teach, but can’t handle her daily affairs.
I guess my point is that I’m not even sure Reagan went to college and I honestly don’t care. Book smarts doesn’t equal someone that believes in freedom for americans.

If he has nothing to hide, then why did he hide it? If he’s a natural born American, then why doesn’t he SHOW US THE LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
Reagan has a degree (BS) in Economics from Eureka College. He was a better than average student.
Memorization. Passing the bar is almost entirely about memorization. And, just because you've passed the bar, doesn't mean you'll be a capable lawyer. Far from it.
Actually practicing law successfully, tests entirely different skill-sets. This is why you'll have people who passed the bar on their first try actually end up washing out of the profession, and you'll have people who had to sit for the bar multiple times, actually end up being competent attorneys.
I would add that to a certain degree, the exact same thing can be said about any professional licensure. My daughter just completed her medical boards, and from what I gather, it too was all about memorization.
The better question is, "Why wouldn't he hide it?" No one but his most fervent political enemies care about this. Why should he - or any politician - do something to placate their ravenous opposition. Until such a time that the broader electorate, or media wants to see something - anything - from any politician, it's not coming out.
I know plenty of Master's degree folks that are idiots also.......
And advanced degree doesn't mean you have any sense.........

I agree but some branch of the government should be responsible for seeing that a candidate meets requirements of the constitution before being sworn in as President. Maybe, just maybe this clown wouldn’t be in office now.
People will really have to hurt before things ever change, in some ways the worse it gets means the better chance of revolution, and i mean a real revolution such as the one in 1776
I think that Obama’s college records matter because he was sold to the American public as being a really smart guy as opposed to the alleged (by the MSM) stupid Bush.
If Obama is so smart then let’s see some documentation of his intelligence. His college records would be a good start.
