This is definitely not good! ...... They are obviously trying to incite Israel as is their custom...and this with these nations leadership fully aware.

As we know Israel has the right to protect her borders...but the ME nations will always squeal like pigs that they are when Israel retaliates in any way.

With Iran wanting to meet with Bo....just as with Bush...it would seem possible this is a diversion to keep the attention away from Iran and the upcoming threat of attacking them.

This figures. It’s almost a repeat of the 2006 conflict. Problems began in Gaza, then spread north back then as well. Hezbollah is about to be formally implicated in the Hariri assassination, so I’d expect them to start in very soon. That would give Syria and “excuse” to join in, as Asad has already pledged to back Hez. Naturally, that would also be Iran’s cue to jump in, backing Syria.

From a reporter in Lebanon :

“Source tells me all NGOs in south Lebanon evacuated to Tyre upon #UNIFIL’s advice #Lebanon #Israel”

“NGO head tells me: “We are telling all our staff to leave the area with 15kg bags. No one knows what will happen.” #Lebanon”

The only way to take out Iran’s nuke stuff is for the US to do it,,,

Israel just can’t put a strike-package or the tonnage to

take out all of Iran’s sites,,,

That’s a fact,,,

This action is to hold the IAF to protect Israel...

maquiladora - good to see you posting again, unfortunately it is under these circumstances. Sounds a little more serious than just a minor flare up. Border is going to be monitored closely the next 24-48 hours for further escalation.

Even if this doesn’t escalate into full scale conflict, it will certainly increase tensions in the region and wouldn’t be suprised to see more of these kind of incidents in the future.

Any word if Hezbollah was involved at all or was this just the LAF?
