How hard could it be to find some kind of inert substitute that won’t cost a bundle?

WOW. I am in awe of such towering ignorance. Have you ever had high school chemistry? Do you know what the periodic table is? As an exercise look up all of those elements with a specific gravity greater than or equal to 11.35, and then see how available they are, how much they cost and how easy/difficult it is to machine them.

Gang, this is just part of the continuing attack on our Constitution and freedom by the marxist/progressive/socialist regime, that are out to destroy this once great country...one step at a time!

Be Ever Vigilant!

Lead’s toxicity has long been known

Neverdem, they've got clay feet with this argument.

Conservatives need to become experts on Lead Toxicity.

For the most part it is a lie. Most homes in US Cities receive their water through lead piping. Dose makes the poison.

Dose makes the poison.

True enough, but for the environazis, the only acceptable concentration is zero. Elemental lead is only very weekly reactive. I checked a material data safety sheet for it. It was classified as an irritant, IIRC.

BS ALERT! This is absolutely false. You need to check your facts. Most homes have copper, plastic or older ones have galvanized iron.

No, they don't. That's completely incorrect. I doubt there's even one single home in the US that has lead pipe. I doubt there's any homes in the world built in the last 200 years that use lead pipe.

What’s the problem with replacing lead? It’s a damned dangerous thing; I can tell you from first hand experience. How hard could it be to find some kind of inert substitute that won’t cost a bundle?

You sound like you want people to use bullets made from air.

First, Bing it. Then apologize. I am completely correct.

Try “Lead Water Service”.

You are NOT correct. Your misinterpreting information on the internet does NOT make you right.

One of the dumbest non-political things ever posted on FR, and that's saying a LOT!

You are completely correct. The lead safety issue is totally overblown.

Interestingly HUDs lead program was essentially curing the childhood lead poisoning problem, so they randomly cut the minimums in half.

This way they got all the victims they wanted and didn’t have to stop controlling people (getting the paycheck was an extra bonus).

Me: Most homes in US Cities receive their water through lead piping

You: BS ALERT! This is absolutely false. You need to check your facts. Most homes have copper, plastic or older ones have galvanized iron.

It used to be that a man would simply admit he was wrong, apologize and move on. It was sissified liberals that would insist on being right despite the facts.

Yet, here you are completely ignorant and gloating in it. Conservatives are logical and if ignorant work to get an education.

A lead water service is standard on most older homes.

NB: I said “receive their water through lead piping”. That would be their water service which then connects to whatever form of plumbing is inside the house.

I am correct. No need to apologize. Ping me when you’ve matured.

I apologize I thought I was communicating with a living human. A robot would just type something out, although I’ve heard that sometimes a monkey can spit out Shakespeare.

You seem like a fairly sophisticated model, but due for some reprogramming.
