Iran's Ahmadinejad survives 'assassination attempt'

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has survived an attack on his convoy in western Iran, media reports from the region say.

The reports say a bomb was thrown at the convoy in the city of Hamedan, where he was to deliver a speech.

Mr Ahmadinejad was unhurt and went ahead with the speech to a rally at a football stadium, which was broadcast live on state TV.

Or else it would be odder than anything that Ian Fleming could ever have written. (James Bond 007)

I wouldn’t call a handgranade going off 300 feet away much of an “assassination attempt.”

If at first you don’t succeed...Keep trying until you kill the mad dog hyena, and everyone around him..like him...in league with him! Kill them *all*! If you can’t get to one...get another...or kill the ones around them that you *can* get to, until they have no one left around them.

LOL, probably would have found his body floating face down in the well where they keep waiting for the 12th Imam to crawl out of :^)

As the BBC is now reporting Iran has denied the report and even the reporters with the convoy told Al Jazeera that the never saw or heard anything.

If a hand granade had gone off in the crowd people would have been hurt but there are no reports of anyone being hurt.
