Well, Sarah has explained many times where she got the names. They are not names I would choose, but I haven’t lived her life, either.

1)Track was named because Sarah and Todd met when he was running track in HS, and she is a runner too.

2) Bristol was named for their fishing lease on Bristol Bay.

3) Willow was named — I forget.

4) Piper was named for their plane.

5) Trig is a Norwegian word meaning strong.

Is this any stranger than the millions of American mothers who have named their kids Madison, or Dakota? How about Buffy and Trey? I’ll bet Katie Couric has friends with kids named Buffy and Trey.

Personally, I prefer traditional names, but we each have our own say in choosing names for our children. Katie can go pound salt. What did she name her kids, anyhow?

Here's a quote I found somewhere... it describes Sarah Palin perfectly:

As you know, I found this in your freeper profile. So it matters little that you mock or criticize her children's names. in fact, according to your profile's quote, you (as a critic) don't count at all.

All that counts are her great darinig in doing what needs to be done, and her amazing record of fantastic accomplishments, especially where many before her had failed miserably. Dipwad.

As usual, FR was ahead of the curve, well before most even knew of her...
