Oh, cool. It's about time they nailed that sleazebag.

Alarcon said nothing during the court hearing but later said that "the charges by the district attorney are baseless. My wife and I are innocent." [sic]

Wasn’t this the same clown who was doing blow during City Council meetings?

I think that guy got caught in the late 90s. The LA City Council doesn’t need to drink or do drugs, they’re just naturally that way.

I may be in a minority here, but I'd say that living outside the district you run in - if it is within city limits - is a relatively minor form of voter fraud. (Compare that to multiple voting by the same individual, or ineligible or dead people voting, or rigging the vote counting process, for example.) I'd suspect that to get hit with a 24 count indictment, there may be something more to what they did than just “carpetbagging” and lying about it, something that the writer of the posted article is perhaps unwilling to mention.

So he lied to get on the ballot? Is that it?

Could we get that Grand Jury to look into Obama?

What else did Alcaron do to get the DA interested in prosecuting him on these charges? From what one might suspect, this ordinarily wouldn't be enough to get a Hispanic councilman affiliated with La Raza into trouble.

After all, Obama, in all probability, flouted the Constitution of the United States in running for POTUS while not being a natural born citizen and no one indicted him for voter fraud.

Seems like Alcaron's crime is dwarfed by Obama's.

Yeah, but they are both scum. Obama is just marginal;ly more evil.

Obama is just marginally more evil.

Maybe so, but he can do many times more damage to many more people because of the ill-begotten powers he has and those he abuses.

:') May the history books of the future be littered with accounts of successful prosecutions of trash like this. ;')

I agree with that’s it’s realtivly minor.

But nice to see some rat go down for something. Especially Alarcon, I think he’s a bigwig.

Too bad we don’t have prison suite cells for family members.

Bring back the loyalty oath and the red flag law and you'd be sure to nab many.

Time to go home to Mexico to buy several more beachfront condos with all those US govt checks.

LA city councilman, Richard Alarcon, 56, faces 18 charges of perjury, voter fraud and filing a false declaration of candidacy. His wife, Flora Montes De Oca Alarcon, is charged with six counts including perjury and voter fraud. They both pleaded not guilty and were released on their own recognizance.

The next sound you hear will be La Raza's "vicimization" rant.

Cong Grijalva and Ohaha.

How did this guy get elected? Using the Alarcons' scam? Arizona congressman Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz) is a former member of (MECHA) according to a 1997 article in the Arizona Daily Wildcat. Did voters know that Grijalva is or was involved with an anti-American seditionist organization? Did he denounce MEChA's anti-Americanism? Does he represent (MECHA's rabidly anti-American interests) or the interests of the American people?

AND GET THIS Grijalva also isn't happy about "civilian patrols" whose members are seeking to deter illegal immigration. Grijalva agrees with (meddlesome Mexicans) that an investigation is needed into activities of American citizens (not illegal aliens and their cheerleaders). (Excerpt) Read more at americanpatrol.com ...

US Rep. Steve King to Laura Ingraham: " I’m wondering if we look at the map of Arizona Congressman Grijalva’s congressional district, if we haven’t already ceded that component of Arizona to Mexico, judging by the voice that comes out of Grijalva. Grijalva’s advocating for Mexico rather than the United States and against the rule of law, which is one of the central pillars of American exceptionalism.

Grijalva believes Arizona's new law, which requires law enforcement officials to demand papers from anyone they suspect is in the country illegally, is racist and does little more than “propagate the idea separate but equal treatment under the law can be codified,” Grijalva said.
