Unfortunately, even with 64 GOP Senators, we would need at least 3 Democrats to vote to convict in order to remove a Supreme Court Justice. Or at least convince 4 Democrats not to show up that day so that 64 votes would be 2/3 of members present.

This is perhaps the “big thing” that I can see happening; once things “break down” enough that CWII is starting the ‘statists’ could sacrifice a number of their own to placate the majority and then keep things right at that level for a while {then they could claim “it’s always been this way” as a response to any concerns about freedoms/liberties} before resuming their course again.
