Democrat Pat Caddell – “We Are Headed For A Tidal Wave In November”

From a man who experienced all he needs to know about a major f#%k-up of a party during the Carter years:

And the spin?

Well, its a good thing that we're gonna get our asses handed to us because we needed to get rid of some those hard-headed Democrats anyways:

In an interview with The Hill, the Energy and Commerce Committee chairman expressed confidence that Democrats will retain the House, and suggested he won’t miss some of the Democrats who won’t be back next year.

“I think a lot of the House seats we’re going to lose are those who have been the toughest for the Democrats to pull into line — the Democrats that have been the most difficult,” Waxman said…

“We’ve been trying to get the Democratic conservatives together with the rest of the Democratic Party, so in effect we’ve gotten bipartisan support among Democrats in the House,” the chairman said with a laugh. “Now we’ll have to work on genuine bipartisanship in the future.”

Ace on that bolded part:

No. 10 was passed in 1996.

Enforcement is a different issue.

drive your enemy before you and hear the lamantations of their women... (or girly men as the case may be for democrats)

A good “tell” is the fact conservatives are putting up primary challengers. Now we just need to eliminate the nut job opportunists who think an entry fee is a win.

I respect Cadell for his honesty in admitting that he is still proud of working for Carter. I think he is very knowledgeable of what is happening inside of the Democratic party.

I don’t need to be lectured, thank you very much.

Do you, now? By that same logic, would you respect Goebbles, still proud of working for Hitler, admitting to his boss in the Berlin bunker with the Allies bearing down hard on them: "Gee, Adolph, looks like we're going to get creamed,. Where's the cyanide and that gas can anyway?"

I don’t need to be lectured, thank you very much.

Nobody lectured you here, lady, but if you think Cadell is the least bit honest you could demonstrate a whole lot less naivte by recognizing that anyone who still defends his service with Carter is as responsible for political strategy which promoted of ME policy back then, that has ultimately resulted in the US fighting the two wars it is in now.

If your memory has faded with regards to political policy which brought about the fall of the Shah, the rise of Hezbollah, and al-Queda, the bombing of the Twin Towers and state sponsored terrorism world-wide, maybe I'll have my two USMC active duty sons educate you a little bit with regard to what Cadell's political advice to Carter was back then in the '70's, since they deal with it every day.

You have GOT to be kidding!

They have stuck their necks out so far...and are in grave danger of having them lopped off, if that hasn’t happened already.

They were democrats before the commie insurgents took charge, and are trying to get the left back in line with their supposed platform...to be FOR the people instead of against them.

I know this might sound ridiculous to you, but I think they like this country.

As far as the Nicole Wallaces and the Peggy Noonans are concerned...they turned on us...especially Peggy...and went to the Obama side of the aisle.

Those two...I will give no quarter. I wonder if they care about this country more than they care about themselves, and their political clout.

I don’t have those worries about Cadell and Schoen.

Conservatives need to run on the following issues up to the November election

They need to run on something like the 13 issues you broached.

And they need to pass them all in Congress.

Sure, Obama will veto them. But make him do it.

It's called a.) keeping faith with your voters and b.) making him the one who is standing in the way of progress.

7. Repealing Obamacare and replacing it with something much much better

Start by revoking "ALL" of the Stark laws.

Do I take it from your screen name that you've been in the fight only since 2000?

I've been in the conservative opposition since the time when Goldwater ran against Johnson -- 35 years before. I was counter marching the "peace" protesters in the late '60's and early '70's. I participated in 3 Marches for Victory in Vietnam all in Washington, DC. I watched the routine appointments of CFR hacks into the State department and planting of Trilateral Commission operatives throughout the Carter Administration -- of which your present hero Pat Cadell was a proud part.

You're either late to the fight, or your memory has faded too.

Peggy Noonan was valuable during the Reagan Administration as an accomplished speechwriter the same way Pat Buchanan was valuable during Nixon in the same capacity. Both of their values to conservatism faded when they tried to elevate their own self-importance and as the efforts of each in later years only served to bring to power Obama and Clinton, respectively.

Pat Cadell and Doug Schoen are Democrats and they are the enemy. I watched them get us here. Anyone who stood in opposition to Reagan was and is the enemy. Never forget that.

Just because they are out of fashion because their power pigs are out of fashion in the current Administration doesn't make them a friend of conservatism. We should play them against our oppositon and bring them all down.

FReegards!

Knowing the future with certainty remains the sole province of God. True, I expect the dems to try any number of unprincipled stunts to keep their power. But you underestimate the American people. I work with people who are supposedly part of the “parasite” class. It is too easy to write them off as dem drones. They are more nearly economic slaves; they feel it and I attest they are looking hard for a way out, for a leader to lead them out.

One stunt that I heard might be coming down the road is an idea that’s been floated to have Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac forgive all their mortgage debt. That would be a spectacular and devastating blow against conservative objectives in this election, but I honestly believe enough people get the existential seriousness of what’s happening that even that would not derail the freedom train hurtling down the tracks toward November. No doubt some can be bought. But the rest of us will not sell our freedom at any price.

Darlin’...I’ve been a member of FR since 2000.

I am way older than that, and was involved way before that.

Pat Cadell and Doug Schoen are desperate. When I said they were trying to get the ‘rats back to being FOR the people...I was relating what they have been saying...not me.

Frankly...the only thing I enjoy about them is their obvious angst. ;o)

And on that note we certainly agree. Cadell won't even admit who he voted for in 2008 -- or even whether he voted at all. I don't care.

We go for the jugular in this fight and that means not allowing these two dem clowns to sweet talk our side into thinking their alleged change of heart has anything to do with red, white, and blue Americanism. It doesn't.

They are NOT honest and never have been. No democrat ever is. They are the enemy. Let's treat them like that and revel in their obvious present discomfort.

I can bump your post to the top, with one exception.

I think Cadell and Schoen are using FNC to try to rally their own troops...not ours. They are almost persona non grata in their party, and apparently no one is listening to them, thank goodness!

I don’t think they will be persuading anyone on our side. If “going after” a group, or groups, is on their agenda, it would be the Reagan dems and the independents. Both of those groups are lost to the ‘rats. However, they are running the ‘rats agenda, and means of obtaining it, down every time I see them. I really don’t see a positive outcome for them as long as the ‘rats are so far to the left.

And...I continue to “revel in their obvious present discomfort”. ;o)

My best FReegards to you!

There are no dem troops to rally who spend any amount of time watching FoxNews. The only Dems watching Fox are recon- and counter-intel types. These guys are smarting as the "oxen" who have been gored ("Gore-d"?) And speaking of Gore, if Al Gore had won in 2000 these jerks wouldn't be doing what they are doing to the Obamoids.

Pan Yans Wife has been suckered into thinking that either of these pricks is honest and that they supposedly "love America." They love themselves and their lost position and they miss the power they had with Carter and Clinton and they want it back -- nothing more.

And if dissing Obama is their middle finger to the Dem establishment that dissed them I say use them for all their worth, but in the same vein, don't go cuddling up to them like some here on FR seem prone to do.

Take them ALL down.

FReegards!

By rallying their own troops, this is what I said...

“If “going after” a group, or groups, is on their agenda, it would be the Reagan dems and the independents. Both of those groups are lost to the ‘rats.”

There is polling...many, many polls...to back up that assertion. They are Gore’d, for sure! lol

“They love themselves and their lost position and they miss the power they had with Carter and Clinton and they want it back — nothing more.”

I totally agree with you on that point. Cadell and Schoen are out in the woods in ‘Rat land. They aren’t important, and no one listens to them anymore. Thank goodness.

Because if they did, we would see a triangulating president...not the Marxist King and Marie Antoinette we have now.

You really should ping another FReeper when speaking of them in the forum. ;o)

“And if dissing Obama is their middle finger to the Dem establishment that dissed them I say use them for all their worth, but in the same vein, don’t go cuddling up to them like some here on FR seem prone to do.”

As you said, bring them all down! And, I will add...give them no quarter!

And in most cases I do, but that poster is merely an object lesson at this point.

She failed to respond to my post, where you on the other hand stepped in and chose to respond with your own thoughts.

I won't post to such a person twice lest they accuse me of stalking -- it has happened before with other people who had their positions in an argument blown to bits and the only way they thought they could retaliate was by whining to mods.

They can get back in if they choose to. The water's warm.

As you said, bring them all down! And, I will add...give them no quarter!

My original point, virtually as stated.

FReegards!

On your point about not pinging the other poster, while I agree that there is the problem of being accused of stalking, I don’t think that would have been a problem in this case. But, your point is well taken.

There are too many who go to the mods at the drop of a hat. But...the mods know who they are, now. No one can push the abuse button without there being a signature attached. That’s one of the best changes this forum has made.

It’s been so nice exchanging ideas with you. ;o)
