Tom Emmer for Minnesota

Target has now apologized for contributing to a pro-business, pro-Tom Emmer for Governor in Minnesota group, which gives me a second reason not to shop in the store that banned the Salvation Army at Christmas a few years back.

Would it have been that hard for the CEO to say that the company believes in free enterprise and especially in these times the home to its headquarters needs a competent governor committed to economic growth?

Emmer deserves all the support that timid business execs won't give him, so please stop by his website and contribute. I will try and get Emmer on today's show.

Go Tom Emmer! The Democrats are doing their best to “bork” him before the regular campaign season even begins.
GO, TOM, GO!!!!

It may be a little hard for Emmer on this one. He made a comment on how the minimum wage should be lowered to account for the tips waiters/waitresses make.

Dayton is sounding awfully conservative on his commercials. Ugh.

Of course Minnesotans could still choose Mark Dayton as governor who promises to raise taxes especially on the “wealthy”. His millionaires tax should really go over big with Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins players. South Dakota, which has no income tax, would I’m sure welcome a professional sports team as well as any other businesses seeking to avoid Minnesota taxes.
