Hayworth is damaged, and Sarah Palin will make mincemeat of this virtually reference-free montage of sound bites.

If Palin actively supports McCain again by outright attacking or disparaging Hayworth, she and her Kool Aid-guzzling deranged supporters will get run out of town.

You know a pol is in trouble when he has to say in his own ad, “I made my mistakes.”

Palin can go back to Alaska as far as I’m concerned.

She’s a lightweight compared to Michele Bachmann.

I wish they had included this infamous McCain quote.

"In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics,
you’ll pay a heavy price. By the way,
I think the fence is least effective.
But I’ll build the G****mned fence if they want it!"

U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, FEB. 2007

Where did they come up with the voice for these ads? He uses the same voice in all of his ads. It’s very grainy and unappealing.

The content is a good ad but the presentation stinks, just like his other ads.

Very disapointing that this race isn’t closer.

Is Bachmann campaigning/endorsing in AZ? If so, for who?

It’s so funny to watch the responses to this. It’s right on target, but of course Hayworth is the bad guy. I really like some of these people, but just damn folks.

McCain’s history: http://www.hotr.us/mccainagain.html

vs

Hayworth: 97.6% approval for his twelve years as a Congressman from the American Conservative Union.

What difference does it make if Sarah backs John? She’s wrong, and as Conservatives we should be a witness to it, not a denier.

Hayseed has already shot himself up pretty bad. All Sarah Palin has to do is point at the holes.

What the hell are you talking about? Sarah Palin has no interest in making “mincemenat” out of anything related to JD Hayworth, you flaming idiot.

Why are you poking holes in a guy who had a 97.6% approval rating from the American Conservative Union? By default, you are supporting John McCain. Good grief...

Are you completely stupid? Sarah hasn’t been back to AZ to campaign for him since her first appearance(s) in March, BEFORE JD Hayworth entered the race! You need to shut the hell up.

An AP story posted on another FR thread (LINK) gives the McCain's response to this ad:
"McCain spokesman Brian Rogers says the nonpartisan FactCheck.org has already called those accusations false."

Per William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC:
The Huffington Post reported on 5/11/09 that after McCain's last failed campaign Brian Rogers became "The research director for Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection." Talk about bipartisanship! John McCain just rehired Al Gore's climate change research director.

congress.org

A Gore operative (Rogers) in McCain's campaign citing a website (factcheck.org) sponsored by a leftist foundation (Annenberg) who also funded Obama & his terrorist buddy, Ayers', joint "educational" Annenberg Challenge Project.

That kind of McCain "rebuttal" would be great for another negative ad about that double dealing fake McCain and his entire 5th column staff.
