I think it is kinda pitiful to use McCain’s words from when he was a POW to try to cast aspersions.
That’s the context and they aren’t pasting words together to put in McCain’s mouth? That would be hitting so far below the belt that their knuckles would shatter on McCain’s wing tip shoes.
That’s not what they’re doing, though. It’s from McCain’s audio book, and he’s talking about the South Carolina Confederate flag controversy.
