Debs and study subjects like South Africa and the campaign against nuclear power. They named their children after some of their heroes. Their older son, Zayd Osceola Ayers Dohrn, was named in honor of Zayd Shakur, the Black Panther killed in New Jersey during a shootout with police in 1973, and Osceola, the Seminole chief who sheltered runaway slaves. Their 13-year-old, Malik Cochise, takes his names from Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz) and the 19th-century Apache chief who fought settlers encroaching on his land.

It might not be due to ignorance or accident. There is a chance it was intentionally mis-spelled to prevent searches from finding it. I have seen that tactic practiced here on the web often.
These people are left-wing freaks. For them, bombing police stations and the Pentagon are fond memories, the way other couples might remember a special weekend at a bed-and-breakfast in Vermont.
Obama saw that they were useful allies in the left-wing freak political atmosphere of Hyde Park. So as a state senate candidate, he embraced them. But on a national level such people become liabilities, so he threw them under the bus. The same can be said of Jeremiah Wright.

Ayers and his radical connections hooked up with the identity-seeking obama at Columbia (or before) and saw someone they could use. Chicago is pwned by the Ayers family. What better place to launch this fool into national politics. Remember Ayers even wrote his autobiography-the one that pays obama's family millions a year still in royalties. The perfect wash.

Ayers visits the WH fairly regularly based on released visitor logs. What could a guy like Bill Ayers, preschool teacher, possibly have to say that is of regular top level interest to the office of the potus?

Amazing how they advocated MURDER of parents, yet now thry try to promote their “family” values. They are still as dangerous as ever. Just new tactics.
Dohrn and Ayers “are also the legal guardians of Chesa Jackson, 13, whose mother, Kathy Boudin, and father, David Gilbert, are in jail for their roles in the 1981 Brink’s robbery, in which a Brink’s guard and two police officers were killed.”
The $1.6 million robbery was a joint operation by Ayer’s Weather Underground and the Black Liberation Army, the openly militant wing of the Black Panthers.
NYT downplays the seriousness of the crime and the depravity of the criminals. Boudin and Gilbert actively participated in the murder of three human beings and intended to murder several more.
Kathy Boudin was paroled in 2003; Gilbert is still in prison where he belongs. Chesa Boudin managed to get into Yale, get a Rhodes scholarship, and to work in Hugo Chavez’ Presidential Palace as an interpreter. No doubt that his radical connections facilitated his access to elite institutions.
