Associated Press via Yahoo! Sports ^ | August 7, 2010 | TIM DAHLBERG

The revelations that once seemed to come daily have now largely stopped. No more mistresses have stepped forward, and no more apologies are necessary.

Nine months after the secret world of Tiger Woods was laid bare, even the tabloids and celebrity websites seem to have lost interest. The only real questions left are how much his wife will get in a divorce and when she will get it.

Tiger needs to be the ball. Be the ball, Tiger, be the ball.

I agree. I think he is vying for sympathy. I don’t think you can lose all of that natural talent so quickly and completely. He will probably come out and win at the PGA and then there will be a whole new Tiger Woods story.

You’re a great writer, PJ — maybe you should do the screenplay?

I'm just not that much into golf to spend much time on it. You know what sport really fascinates me nowadays? Kite surfing. Would definitely love to give that a try. I talked to a guy who gives kite surfing lessons the other day and he said its not that hard to learn.

You sound like the Golf Yoda.

Tiger would have not problem putting it in if they’d put hair around the hole.

Aside from his carefully scripted “apology”, has Tiger ever sought redemption? I think he needs a little Jesus in his life. Things would be just fine then.

He needs prayers.

Maybe he should carry the Golf Yoda’s bag for awhile or, if he’s not available, then perhaps the Dali Lama. Then he will have that going for him.

The press never cared about his mistresses - that story was forced on them. Tiger’s a liberal - they’ll go back to covering for him.

While there are many angles to the Tiger Woods story. The one I find most interesting is trying to understand what is going on in Tigers head. Wealthy and well known to princely proportions, he has been shamed, humiliated and humbled so very publicly.

Yet in his role as sports God, he must continue to perform in the intense spotlight of the professional golf tournament, where the flinch of every muscle is photographed, measured and recorded. Under that spotlight he must try to not let us know his inner struggles.

In his personal life he has fewer safe harbors. Every friend or acquaintance has to be suspect, a possible gold digger; future tell-all entrepreneur; or self promoting-hanger-on. Who is real...he must be asking himself. Who can he trust.

Can you imagine the calculations Tiger needs to make before enjoying the company of a new female friend.

The Tiger Woods Story is a modern day tragedy. The moral of the story is...character matters. Being honest, faithful, trust worthy, are sound principles that yeild healthy happy lives and peace of mind.

He’s probably stopped using steroids because he doesn’t want to add that to his list of problems. Off of steroids he’s just like everybody else. Check to see if he’s still bulked up like he was, that’s one indicator. I’d be much more interested in the steroids side of the story than anything else.

By the way, does the fact that Tiger only does white women make him a racist?

Hell, just name him ‘Golf Advisor’. Barack is literally playing a round every other week (42 rounds so far as of today).

In his heyday, “Tiger” Woods even took in Rush Limbaugh, who once spent all three hours of his radio show praising Woods, which outraged many dittoheads. I’ll bet Rush is no longer much of a fan.
