Pat Caddell: Country's Mood Is "Pre-Revolutionary"
Here is what it all comes down to, as he asks:
"Who is sovereign? The people or the political class?"
Let me suggest that in politics, just as in drama, the intellect steers, but the emotion drives.
We would all be intellectually opposed to Obama's and the Democrats' agenda in all possible worlds.
But the intellect steers, emotion drives.
What has people willing to walk on their naked knees over broken glass is the emotion of it. Not just that we disagreed as pointedly (and at first as respectfully) as we could, but that, having lodged our objections as natural-born Americans with the power, we're told, to shape our own political destinies, our input into our own fates was met with a single dismissive f*ck-you:
"We. Don't. Care."
Followed up with:
"We. Will. Do. What. We. Please."
That is what is providing the actual emotion here.
When it was just a policy debate, it was intellectual.
But now they've gone and made it personal.
That was a mistake. Because you can sell people down the river if you can keep them asleep while you do it.
When you rouse them...? When you alert them...? When you incense them...?
Tougher.
And it's not just personal, but fundamental: Who decides in America? The people, as the books claim? Or the elite, as common practice seems to have it?
And so the rage.
And soon the fire.
See Hot Air for other stuff, like PPP finding Obama's approval rate in swing states is ten points lower than the margin he was elected with.
We will take this country back. Trust that.

Pat Caddell is to damned smart to be a RAT.
I’m glad he’s around, though.
Pat was a Democrat before the party was completely taken over by progressives.
He’s trying to lower the bar for the Dems. He says they are going to be swept away by a tidal wave. So when they retain their majority in the Senate, everyone will say, “Wasn’t so devastating to the Dems afterall.”
The ‘RATs have all the money needed to buy the elections right now. I think if Americans are not successful in November with taking back their government, the Second American Revolution will start almost immediately. I’ve already been polishing my bullets.

And his vision is filled with conviction for country instead of political favors to a party.

A great campaign commercial for republicans- and I think someone had done these on the internet- three clips-
1) Nancy Pelosi - “You can see what’s in the Bill after we pass it” (maybe juxtapose with Obams’s pledge during the campaign that we peons will have five days to view any bill on the internet before he signs it)
2)The Congressman who said during the Health dacre debate- “We make up the rules as we go along”
3) The dem Congressman who said “ I don’t care about the Constitution”.
Plus an easy ad since the dems are in control of congress- remind all the seniors they got no cost of living raise this year, while Congress got their raises.
While I agree with you, there are lots of freeloaders who are really enjoying the reign of Obozo the Idiot because they are on the receiving end of the wealth spreading. They will vote, if at all, for the continuing transformation. We need to be vigilent and vote in November.
