Can you imagine how out of step one would have to be to back this man for re-election? Even during his campaign, he breaks away to commit further subterfuge.

I am starting to believe that McNuts gets a thrill out of that sort of thing. Either that, or his handlers are asleep at the switch.

I’m just sorry that Palin ever hitched her wagon to this man.

I was all for it in 2008. Now she’s soiled herself. He has at least partially turned another one.

If she had taken a pass on running with him, she would have served out a full one or two terms in office. McCain would have likely been rousted out of office, and his influence on people like her would have been severely limited.

Now he’s looking like he’ll return to the Senate, return to carrying enough weight to turn others...

It’s just a sad situation.
