The opportunity for the Republicans is there to seize.
Jan Brewer did, and she's the no contest leader now.
All they have to do is point all of this out to the voters.
Will they follow the seedy and irrelevant John McCain, or the tough lady of the moment, Ms. Brewer?

According to this judge's decision...Arizona's 15,000 lawmen could not help federal agents enforce the law... Based on this decision, do the states have the option of refusing to enforce federal law in general? It seems arbitrary to be to required to enforce federal law when it is convenient for Washington, while being denied the obligation to enforce federal law when it is to the states' advantage but contrary to Washington's political agenda. Either the states enforce federal law or they don't. Lawyers please advise.
