My bet is he will find God on his own terms....he will have ample opportunity to reflect while his last hours are upon him. The good Lord will be at his side wether he likes it or not.

The Lord is waiting, Mr. Hitchens. Do the right thing and accept His grace. After you breath your last here on earth, you’ll be glad you did.

Proof that Jesus Christ loves every man. He has been given the gift of self examination and the opportunity to accept God that many do not receive.Prayers for Christopher Hitchens.

Interesting that he refers to followers of Christ as “peasants”.

Belief is a wise wager. Granted that faith cannot be proved, what harm will come to you if you gamble on its truth and it proves false? If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists.

Proof that Jesus Christ loves every man. If the Bible is literally true, then aren't the vast majority of human beings who ever lived destined for eternal torment? Does that meet your definition of love?

People’s hearts are either like clay or wax. Both have different responses to heat. One becomes hardened and the other melts. We put ourselves in the place of Mr Hitchens and we think we would naturally be humbled and repentant. But this man clearly has a heart of clay and the closer he comes to death, the more resolute and hardened he is in his unbelief. Perhaps something will soften this man’s heart before he’s gone.
To: The Great RJ
Except faith or belief on those terms is not sincere, it is simply self promotion. Nice try Blaise, but it won’t work.
