Senator McCain, all I see and hear from your campaign is the faults of your opponent and no detailed ideas for making Arizona or our country better. A while back, your 10-point plan for border protection had no funding provided that I could see, yet you rail against any new spending without cuts or taxes elsewhere.
Your greatest hypocrisy is calling Social Security a failed system that needs to be replaced, or better yet, given over to the investment bankers that destroyed our economy to start with. The hypocrisy here, sir, is that you are still receiving your monthly Social Security payment of just over $1,900 a month in addition to your and your wife's income of millions. Common decency would suggest you quit taking this money from a system you don't believe in and allow it to provide a meaningful retirement supplement to two middle-class, retired couples.
Your "No" votes on the stimulus, healthcare reform, financial reform and all the other legislation designed to get us out of recession show you have no concept of the working people's plight in this country and are only concerned with your fellow rich and lobbied citizens.

McCain is a bad candidate for any office, but I fail to understand your animosity. Just why are you irritated at his running for office? Is it because he collects Social Security? Is it his plan to change that system?
There is real jounalism out there but most of it resides in small cities such as Kingman Arizona.
There’s a surprise in this?
I stopped reading at this point. I'm so tired of this meme that attacks the financial sector and puts no responsibility on government for the banking mess. There is blame to be shared by the private sector, but without prodding by Democrats and their cronies at Freddie/Fannie, Wall Street and their ACORN buddies, the mortgage mess does not happen.
I can fault McCain for many things, but I think he was one along with Bush who attempted to reign in Fannie and Freddie abuses and were halted by the Democrat Congress who were definitely enablers of this disaster and recipients of millions in campaign donations from those same irresponsible folks who caused this mess.
BTW - my 401k was doing quite well until government started picking financial winners and losers, raising taxes and spending like Kennedys (i.e. drunken Democrats).
It’s a tough race. McCain has been fighting dirty even before Hayworth announced. He’s been using his Presidential campaign money to fund it. The Ruling elite and their Media organs have been hitting Hayworth too. McCain was set up as the fall guy but now the Ratocracy wants him to win.
No point in funding something that he is going to drop in a few weeks anyway!
This man is a cretin.

On basically this same subject, I received a solicitation letter from the RNC Saturday with Sarah Palin’s name as the return address, and purportedly signed by her. I took the letter and my big Sharpie pen and wrote the following right on the letter:
“Sarah, beware! The RINO creeps at RNC are using your good name for fundraising. They do not care diddly about YOU, and some RINOs have already stated that if they can’t STOP you they will Co-opt you!
“I will NOT send money for the RNC to blow on campaigns for pantywaist RINO turncoats like Lindsey Graham and John McCain. By the way Sarah, you no longer owe McCain a damn thing!
“If you or Michelle Bachmann of some other true American is ever on the ballot I’ll write a check. But right now, not one cent for RINOs who as soon as they are elected will be sucking up to the Progressives who are well on their way to ruining our Country, as Founded!”
And I mailed it back to the RNC in their own envelope. I’m hip that Sarah will never see it, but the message was not for HER anyhow; it was for the RNC. Sarah had better watch her back, all the same!
Then on Tuesday I got a phone call from RNC. I told the sweet lady on the phone basically the same thing; “Call me back when they have some REAL American candidates, but until then, leave me alone! Bye!”
Speaking of the $26 Billion travesty that was passed on Monday, I was both pleased and surprised that MY Representative, Todd Platts, R-PA, voted against it. It got passed anyhow, but little Toddie showed some gonads, anyhow!
Right, I’ve been following it here.
Go JD!
Six years ago I was shocked to find out there was not even a name on the Primary ballot in opposition to McLame . I wrote in Mickey Mouse. Every time I hear one of McCains ads I shut it off. Needless to say it’s been good exercise.
