Despite local shock and outrage at the infanticides, Dutch case law permits the killing of newborns for “unbearable suffering” by doctors following a checklist called the Groningen Protocol.

Legalized MURDER.

I don’t know about all spina bifida cases, but I worked with a guy in TX who had it. He was in a wheelchair, but he was a teacher and the kids loved him. He got married and seemed to have a full life. He died fairly young, but I don’t think he would have said he’d prefer to have been killed at birth. And he brought a lot to the lives of others.

Exactly, spinal bifida shortens and happens a person’s life, but it IS NOT a death sentence.

a country where infanticide is legal as long a doctor administers the dose.

What ever happened to 'first do no harm'.

IIRC, Cass Sustein, Obama's "Regulatory Czar", thinks we should be able to abort babies up to the age of 2 YEARS.

The libertarians will be upset that you need a doctors approval to kill your children. /s

I checked another article and it stated that a long life expectancy along with suffering is reason to murder your child. In other words if your kid will burden you, you can kill him or her.

It’s a violation of the fundamental right to life. The Dutch government is illegitimate until they fix this problem.

I’ve heard of the Groningen Protocol, but I thought it was what the Nazis called one of their euthanasia programs.

It’s okay, officer; I have a license to kill the baby.

Yep, okay, everything seems to be in order. Go ahead.

And we want to emulate the Euro’s why?

Correction to my post #9

I need to change the name of Obama’s guy. It’s John P. Holdren, his Science Adviser but, hey they’re all nuts.

So, state sanctioned murder of babies is OK but privately done isn’t?

What hypocrites.

This is the inevitable outcome of this kind of euthanasia mentality.

If the state says it’s OK and does it without consequences, people will come to believe that it’s acceptable for them to do it as well.

The Nazi euthanasia program was called “Aktion T4,” as best I can tell the Dutch modeled the Groningen Protocol after the Nazis.

Sad to say, I wouldn't be shocked to see that mentality from libertarians, even on FR of all places.

I see no difference between abortion and infanticide, same thing. Both wrong.
