The power of aliyah
Ynet news ^ | Yoram Ettinger

In 2010, a surge in the Israeli Jewish fertility rate is a long-term, unique, global phenomenon, while fertility rates decline sharply in the Third World in general and in Muslim countries in particular.

In 2010, there is a 66% Jewish majority in 98.5% of the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean (without Gaza) – and a 58% Jewish majority with Gaza. That Jewish majority benefits from a demographic tailwind and from a high potential of aliyah (Jewish immigration) and of returning Israeli expatriates.

I found it interesting that the article claims that the fertility rates among Muslims, in particular, is dropping.

Almost all material that I’ve read contradicts the assertion. They’re multiplying like roaches.

Wait until the Messiah reigns in Jerusalem for 1000 years. Jewish women will be putting out babies like machine guns.

In an unrelated story, in Moslem nations, the rise in the number of goats, many of which now walk funny, correlates with a drop in human reproduction rates, just by coincidence.

I’m surprised the the Leftist Ynet decided to publish considering how the Left views children as an inconvenience.

I'll nominate that as quote of the decade. LOL!

So those Jewish uteri have a select-fire switch on them? Single shot, tri-burst, and full auto? I bet she does!

We're talking about fertility rates of Muslims in Israel and the West Bank only and comparing those rates over time. Muslims in Israel and Israeli controlled territories have improved socioeconomic conditions compared to Muslims in predominantly Muslim countries, so their fertility rates in Israel are going down with time. This doesn't mean that the Muslim fertility rate in Israel isn't still significantly higher than the Jewish fertility rate in Israel. It's just that the gap is narrowing with time.

The article mentions Muslim countries, though:

"In 2010, a surge in the Israeli Jewish fertility rate is a long-term, unique, global phenomenon, while fertility rates decline sharply in the Third World in general and in Muslim countries in particular."

Iran has dropped to replacement level, 2.0 kids, from 5+. Other Muslim nations like Morrocco and Lebanon are at that level. For other Muslim nations, the rate has dropped rapidly, but falling in half still leaves them with population growth. Many Muslim nations are still producing 3+ kids per family. That’s a drop in fertility rates but doesn’t stop population growth.

I have four daughters. The 11 year old already looks like that.

I’m moving to a gated community and have designed automated machine guns for mounting on the roof.

Now if you could just find a mensch for her that is part tzaddik and part Genghis Kohen and let the machine gun take care of all the rest. When she gets old enough she can join the Tzahal and carry the machine herself!

ALL my daughters will serve. Period. It’s not negotiable in our house.
