After an 8-year-old girl was killed while jumping rope, and her 7-year-old cousin critically wounded, Steshawn Brisco bragged that he and a second person "let loose on 107th Street," prosecutors said in court Saturday.
When asked if he knew little girls were present, he allegedly said: "We didn't care. We let the whole .40 clip go," according to Cook County state's attorney prosecutors.
A judge denied bond for Brisco, who turned 18 Saturday. He is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm in connection with the shooting Tuesday that killed Tanaja Stokes and sent Ariana Jones to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. She has since been released from the hospital.

May be umpopular, but this is what I have to say on matters like this..
It is high past time to congress authorized the use of the military to take out these animals, it is beyond shameful that we can clean up Baghdad, but won’t do it to our own inner cities. The powers that be know who these dogs are, and its far beyond time they are put down, like rabbid animals should be.
Don’t give me this would be the end of the republic nonsense either, This Republic existed for nearly 100 years without Posse Comitatus, and the law itself expressly allows Congress to authorize such actions. It is beyond time that it did.
I think the name "Steshawn" says it even more plainly.
