Question:
What was the exact date when the Cordoba cartel bought the building? Before Obama entered the DEM primaries or after he won the election????

But what is happening now ...is not worth whatever political gain your party might achieve. Just like I'm sure you believed the Democrats shouldn't have called Bush a warmonger, or called those who are against abortion "anti-woman", or denounced those who are against gay marriage as the equivalent of racists, or called those supporting our illegal immigration policies as "bigots"--because those positions were "divisive".
Your fake cries against "divisive" rhetoric are a joke.

Best suggestion I’ve read so far was from a poster on another blog. He/she said that Congress (this or the next, I suppose) should just declare it a National Historic Battlefield, just as they’ve done for other pieces of real estate.

If this fool were a lawyer, he wouldn’t win too many cases with arguments like this. Plus, he’s boring too.

Does anyone know why the Twin Towers have not yet been rebuilt?

If the GOP attacks BO’s brazen support of our enemies, they may close all the Christian churches in Saudi Arabia. Oh...nevermind....

Interesting idea.
What are the rules and restrictions of National Historic Battlefields? How do these rules extend to the area beyond the battlefield boundaries?

I would think that the overwhelming majority of people outside of New York care more about the economy, unemployment, the wars, and the deficit than about a mosque. If the GOP makes this the core part of their campaign, when virtually all their opponents will be able to give a better answer than Obama did, then they’re making a mistake.

This is basically the Rats asking for mercy because they know Obama just screwed their election chances even more.
No mercy, lock them all up for treason.

I don’t know. The main problem I foresee is that it might ensnare other businesses already on site that are not trying to stir up the pot!
I’d hate to run afoul of someone’s legitimate private property rights just to prevent this mosque from being built.

It shouldn’t be the core part of the platform but it should be a big step.

And a national political fight conducted on the terms we have seen in the past few days will lead to a chain reaction at home and abroad that will have one winner the very extreme and violent jihadists we all can claim as our true enemy. Why?

Dear GOP,
Our weaknesses are evident for all to see.
Please don’t exploit them just to win votes.
Thank you very much you racists.
Sincerely,
Democrats.

A smart American realizes their is a difference between a religion and a theocracy. They realize that the very teachings of Islam are that it is a theocracy.
Theocracy absolutely is NOT protected by the US Constitution since its purpose is to overthrow the constitution.

What would that answer be?
To: tobyhill
Why the GOP Shouldn't Run Against It Because one widdle writer for Time will pout if they do, is the real answer, but to save you the trouble, the actual answer he gives is...I'm not making this up...because if they do, the terrorists win.

Considering that mosque is partly house of worship but also partly a symbol of islamic conquest, I have been wondering if there are any laws against monuments honoring national enemies.
