AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

He could have meant either. Most of us are more familiar with a reference to Buddhism than Shinto.

"Shinto established itself as an official religion of Japan, along with Buddhism."

Shinto

Where's eminent domain when you need it?

The site really should be a national memorial.

Rush off to a good start. But I hope he corrects the Hindu temple analogy. Maybe he meant Shinto?

Interesting article;

Democrats always hurt the economy

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2571459/posts

These charts cover the administrations of Clinton, Bush, and Obama. While Democrats have been in charge of the Senate, jobs have decreased by 2,373,000.

Compare that to the fact that while the Republicans have been in charge of the Senate during the last 18 years, jobs have increased by 23,118,000.

Same article, original source;

http://atlah.org/atlahworldwide/?p=9396

Some people asked the question why did Republicans spend so much money during the start of the Bush administration? The deficit increased to $400 Billion and the economy lost 2 million jobs (mostly because of 9/11). Well, if you look closely, it was a Democrat Senate that was in charge.

Democrats had control of the Senate for 2001 and 2002. They forced Bush to spend on their programs as payment to them for passing any of the Bush initiatives to thwart the impact of 9/11 on the economy.

Note to Lombaugh: The families of the Lockerbie victims didn’t mean a darn to Barry. Why should the 9-11 families?

Now wondering if that was when Trent Lott was sharing the Senate with Democrats?

Perhaps, but a mouth staple job would have been more effective on several levels...
