So when he and his daughter, Sasha, took a dip in the sea off Florida this weekend, only the White House photographer was allowed to capture proceedings.
The official picture was intended to provide evidence that the region's beaches are back to normal. Yet it soon emerged that the private beach on which it was taken, off Alligator Point in St Andrew Bay, north-west Florida, isn't technically in the gulf.

I’ve stayed at the Marriott just west of that point. *IF* he was in the waters at Alligator point he was NOT in the Gulf.
Now, where he and his family stayed IS a nice resort (of course), but it’s not a place where you and I could drive up and swim.
Gonna go do a little Google Earth work and be right back ..
If Bush had tried to control a photo op this tightly, the MSM would have refused to run the official photo. The MSM lapped it up.
