SAN FRANCISCO – A federal appeals court put same-sex weddings in California on hold indefinitely Monday while it considers the constitutionality of the state's gay marriage ban.
The decision, issued by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, trumps a lower court judge's order that would have allowed county clerks to begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples on Wednesday.
Lawyers for the two gay couples that challenged the ban said Monday they would not appeal the panel's decision on the stay to the Supreme Court.

Walker ruled the states MUST have gay marriage under the US Constitution...
If the US Supreme Court upholds the ruling... all 50 states will be forced to have gay marriage... the states have no choice... if it overturned.. it back to the states choice....
Uhh.. that’s what I said. And, given King Anthony’s previous decisions, he will likely rule to re-define marriage to include homosexuals. i.e. overturn Prop. 8 and force all states to change their marriage laws to allow homosexuals to marry. So this is just a strategic step by the Ninth Circus to minimize political damage to the dems until the Supremes make their big decision.

Finally some common sense from the Court system. 7,000,000 voters spoke loud and clear and used to ballot box to reject validating homosexual ‘marriages’. To think that one sole solitary sodomite judge would be allowed to overturn that for his own benefit defies the very foundations of justice. Looks like Vaughn Walker won’t be the first in line to marry his homosexual lover on Wednesday as he had planned.

Maybe by that time 0thugga will have been found to be ineligible, knew it, arrested for various crimes, deported to his home country, and everyone he hired/appointed/all bills signed will be made null and void!
