What would be really interesting would be for all FReepers to ask 10 moderate/liberal associates the following question:

” Roger Simon at the progressive website ‘Politico’ wrote a piece where he mentions that President Obama should resign. What do you think about that?”

Should Obama resign?

I say no...and I have a selfish reason, I want to see a 24/7 shark feeding frenzy of events unfolding after he is dragged out of the Whitehouse in handcuffs, placed in the back seat with an officer pushing his head down, read his rights, having his mug shot taken, issued prison clothes and incarcerated.

However arguably the method can be discussed to death but the implementation involves skulduggery and sleight of hand to fool the portions of a potentially possible race war into believing Obama was taken away for other reasons, such as a sudden stroke that leaves him a vegetable. Or a rare disease thats incurable.

I am quite sure a lot of people have a plan in the works, or several plans depending on what reaction they can expect from the left, right, center and from other countries, and whatever plan they chose is of course also a plan for the next POTUS nominee to reap rewards or become the next engineered failure.

At this point I am beginning to feel as though Obama was dated material and is basically designed to fail at a certain date all in the manipulation of gaining trust for a future set of leaders.

I think you're right. It becomes clear when he talks about doing what's right vs. doing what's expedient, and then uses critics of Lincoln saying "listen to the polls that people want to keep slavery" vs. bucking popular opinion.
