Ron Paul to announce for president in 2012?
Youtube ^ | August 17, 2010 | RidleyReport

Even if it's just a rumor, the flurry of activity on RonPaulForums.com surrounding it could signify that a movement is still out there waiting to be massively reborn.

Well, McCain is also considered by many, at least according to threads on FR and other websites, to be too old to elect now but that’s partly based on his rather dottering behavior.
I don’t believe Ron Paul is POTUS material (he is a leader with a small ‘l’, not a national stage leader; I feel that McCain is also a small ‘l’ leader in that he distinguished himself under the harshest imaginable conditions in Vietnam and he lead men honorably, I just don’t believe he should lead a nation) and I am desperately hoping that someone I can support will show up. Ah..basically I will vote for a mackerel if one runs against Obama but I DON’T want to be in THAT postion....again.

The age thing may very well be a factor. And I’m a Ron Paul supporter. It could be the major non-policy factor.

Ron Paul, the only republican Cindy Sheehan can stomach. Proving the adage, birds of a feather.

Saturday, May 10, 2008
Cindy Sheehan endorses Ron Paul over Barack Obama

http://wigdersonlibrarypub.blogspot.com/2008/05/cindy-sheehan-endorses-ron-paul-over.html

and also:

Sheehan: “I don’t want to even discuss who is likely to be the Republican nominee, because besides having little foreign policy difference between any of them and Hillary, anyone of them would be a complete disaster on matters of war and peace, with the possible exception of Ron Paul (Tx).”

‘Dr. Paul is only a year older then Mccain.’

One reason why, thank God, McCain will never be a candidate for president again.

but I think his followers need to be realistic about his chances, which are only slightly better than mine.

I disagree, there is a chance I would vote for you.

What difference does age make when you have the strength to lead as Dr. Paul has shown?

When has cut and run EVER shown an ability to lead? In all the time he has been in Washington what has he ever accomplished, except getting every earmark possible?

Seems to me if this is true the publicity can only hurt his son’s senate campaign.

From what I can tell, the posters here will rejoice when Mitt Romney is the Republican candidate in 2012. I will not vote for John McCain II. If that happens, I will vote my conscience. I will vote for Ron Paul! Be sure this time that you pick a candidate that is a CONSERVATIVE and NOT a progressive RINO!

Yes, but Ron Paul has the Cindy Sheehan endorsement locked up, so while I thank you for your support, I have work to do...

I think Ron Paul saw who he would be up against in 2012...and decided to run. Most of the ones specualted to run for the GOP nomination are closer in political thought to Obama than to conservatives.

Rep. Paul ran a good campaign in 2008....and has even a better chance in 2012. Whatever his critics say or claim....one thing is for sure: If you are tired of the usual Washington stupidity....vote for Ron Paul.

Although I did not support Mr Paul in 2008....I would be more likely to support in 2012....most of the rumored 2012 GOP candidates are just one small step away from liberalism

Obviously your ability to tell is either horribly inadequate or you don't get out much...

Romney is loathed more than Paul here. Indeed Paul is just an entertaining old loon except for his anti-war spew and his Jew hating associates which is his major downfall. Paul is no conservative, he sounds like it sometimes then WHEW, right off the bend.

Mitt is a socialist turd.

I am sure Cindy Sheehan would vote for Ron Paul because he is against the unending wars that have drained us of our sons lives and our fortunes to the brink of the debt crisis we now face. I am no Cindy Sheehan fan, but these protracted wars have got to stop...they are killing the USA! The days of US Imperialism are about over because between that and the endless entitlements, we are broke! Give me DeMint-Bachmann in 2012, or I am voting for Ron Paul!

When Liz Cheney gets two votes and Paul gets zero(same as Romney),any SANE person should see the writing on the wall.
