Muslim-born Miss USA is against Ground Zero mosque

Reigning Miss USA Rima Fakih has spoken out against the Ground Zero mosque.

Fakih, 24, is the first Muslim winner of the Miss USA contest and is preparing for the Miss Universe Pageant, scheduled for August 23 in Las Vegas.

"I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion," the New York Post quoted Fakih as telling Inside Edition during an interview.

"I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion," she added.

Ironically it is always the no-morals left who hoists a double standard on those of the right who may have sinned, which is pretty much all of us. The left holds us to a higher standard, while they themselves wallow in their own decadent petard and are proud of it. The difference is that the left have abandoned any sense of decency, while the right cherishes it, so with no sense of decency the left is free to launch it's wild attacks on anyone and everyone who disagrees with their antics.

I wonder if she would be considered a good Muslim in Iran or Saudi Arabia? Islam has one thing in common with Christianity. There are lots of people claiming to be members of a certain faith, but living completely contrary to that faith. I imagine that the vast majority of Muslims cringe at her behavior, just at the Roman Catholics must cringe at Madonna, the material girl.
