These dog days have brought a veritable festival of racial demagoguery, from a phony “New Black Panther” controversy to Arizona’s draconian illegal-immigrant crackdown to the most recent “ground zero mosque” hysteria.

Leave it to GOP darling Sarah Palin to turn up the heat with a bizarre defense of the hateful Dr. Laura’s “n-word” rant.

the thing is, Powers had the look on her face of one who is condemned to go before the crowd and defend the indefensible.

She did NOT want to be on the side of the issue that she was being “forced”, due to her ideology, to be on.

Poor Kirsten (/sarc)...she's just trying to regain some credibility after Megyn Kelly put her through the ringer and showed everyone what a BS artist Power actually is.

Her words will never ring true to anyone anymore - except maybe her parents - as she has partaken of the leftist kool-aid and I fear will be forever tainted.

The TEA party movement is having a fine summer, and will - by all available indications - have a even more wonderful autumn.

The left is still trying to nail down the TEA party movement, but they still haven't figure out quite how to do it. There is no leader than could be attacked to quell the TEA party - it's millions of patriotic American citizens stepping up to protect the Constitution that has protected them all their lives.

There is no one person to villify, so they pick up the broad brush and try the ridiculous argument that the entire TEA party movement, is racist. That stands neither in logic, or probability.

If they were to somehow get rid of people they perceive to be "leaders" in the TPM, 10 others would immedately step up to take their place, and the resolve of the TPM would grow exponentially. The TPM is a shadow they can't contain in one of their "boxes" they like to put everyone into...it's like trying to nail Jello to the wall.

They try and try the race card, even though it's mostly worn out; along comes little PC Kirsten to see if she can write one word someone else hasn't already written to make the accusations stick...and she strikes out too.

What the hell are they teaching these kids in journalism school these days...their feeble, one-track minds are "love obama, all who don't are racists". That's their whole philosphy for America. What a pity.
