This is absolutely amazing! Hard to believe! I’m astounded! You’re telling me that there’s actually still people who want to live in Philthydelphia?

Philadelphia is ALWAYS desperate for money.

You've had a bunch of Obama types running Philadelphia for years. So all they can do is TX and SPEND. As people and companies move out, they're stuck with this method of getting money. They wouldn't dare cut back on spending.

You pay multiple taxes, including on receipts, so even a business losing money must pay taxes. It truly is the socialist idiot nightmare. They have no awareness that a better business climate would help the city and boost tax revenue.

” If their bill passes, bloggers will still have to get a privilege license if their sites are designed to make money, but they would no longer have to pay taxes on their first $100,000 in profit. “

More companies will MOVE OUT!

“In June of this year (2010), Philadelphia city council members unveiled a proposal to reform the city’s business privilege tax in an effort to make Philly a more attractive place for small businesses. “

Yeah the 100K profut limit will really attract small or medium size business all right! LOL!!!!

There is NO WAY IN HELL that a small or medium sized business will go to Philadelphia to support dead beats.

The Filthadelphia Mandarins are just regulating free speech out of existence and free enterprise, too!

What’s the problem? At least more so than any business license in any city? It applies only to taxable revenue-generating sites, not opinion sites.

I always tell people that Philadelphia is a great place to be from. As far away from as possible.

We had a saying for visitors to the City of Brotherly Love. “If you want any love here you better bring your brother with you.”

But Philadelphia is no different than any other large city that as been controlled by Democrats for decades. They are corrupt and falling apart. Anyone who can leaves. The politicians are desperate to find new sources of revenue, but the producers are gone.

One thing the politicians can do is come up with more gun control laws. They a.re good at that. The problem is that the streets are awash in the blood of gunshot victims.

The problem all over the country is Democrats. We had better get rid of them in November because they don’t know how to do anything beyond what they have already done.
