Did you get a sense of who the people that turned out were supporting?
I have the feeling that low turnout is good for JD, because the people who wanted to throw McCain out would have turned out come hell or high water.

BITCHING ON FR ALL DAY LONG DOES NOTHING

YOUR VOTE IS WORTH 100 TIMES AS MUCH IN PRIMARIES!!!!!!!!!! ESPECALLY FOR TAKING DOWN RINO'S

Mr. K,

I don't live in Arizona, but if I did I would be voting for JD.

The people that aren't voting don't even know FreeRepublic exists. I would bet a decent percentage of the population doesn't even know there is voting today or doesn't think they care or don't think it will matter.

The biggest problem in this country is that only a small percentage of the entire population even vote at all. And, how many of that percentage have a working knowledge of the issues and the candidates?

What was the total percentage of the population voting in the last presidential election? I know it was higher than usual, but no where even near 50%.

What are the percentages of the damn country voting on American Idol? The dumbing down of this country has come damn close to completion.

Sorry, just rambling.....

Everyone should keep in mind that Arizona is not on Daylight Savings Time, so the time there is the same as the West Coast.

We’ve got another half an hour for the polls to close.

YOUR VOTE IS WORTH 100 TIMES AS MUCH IN PRIMARIES!!!!

I don't intend to hijack this thread. However, you are right on with that statement. There is a primary in DE on 9/14. A true conservative, Christine O'Donnell, is challenging the ultimate socialist RINO, Mike Castle, for Joe Biden's old senate seat. It is ironic because Castle and Biden are friends and Castle has been a living off tax payers and promoting socialism for forty years. If anyone wants to make a difference please support Christine:

Now that I’m past the Florida primaries, I plan on sending her a donation to help on the 14th.

I’d love to get rid of Castle. How is she doing in the polls and support?

Are the polls closed or not?

What’s the local conjecture? Man, this is the quietest race I’ve ever tried to follow. You’d think a couple of dog-catchers were battling it out, not the former GOP POTUS candidate.

Carl Cameron was spinning pretty fast for McCain—but I’m not trusting him any further than I can throw him!

Well, not even that far, he looks like a little bitty guy!

What do you think this means?

Is Mc such a shoo-in that the LSM is bored of the election?

Is JD making a better stand than expected?

Or are we waiting for Mc’s camp to ‘find’ some ballots?
