EL PASO - Virtually every law enforcement agency on both sides of the border is meeting in El Paso today to address a mutual concern: Border threats.
An exercise is designed to evaluate international, inter-agency, and intra-agency communication and emergency response capabilities.
The exercise is being held from 11:30 a.m. to noon at the El Paso Border Patrol Station at 9201 Gateway.
Participating agencies include the U.S. Border Patrol, Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the El Paso Police Department, the El Paso Fire Department, the Red Cross, Emergency Medical Services, and parallel agencies in Juarez.
The experiences gained from this exercise will help improve the unified response to international events along the U.S./Mexico border.
Say what?
Parallel agencies in Juarez. Does. Not. Instill. Confidence.
Why in hell would US law enforcement do anything jointly with Mexican law enforcement? Most of them are in the employ of the cartels!
“Pablo, we call this here thing a `donut’.” Bob, BATF
“Bueno! (smacking lips) Ju gots any mas?” Pablo, DrugsRNuestro
“No, I’m sorry—we only have time for one.” Bob
“Hokay. See ju nex’ year!” Pablo
An observation that will no doubt be met with great umbrage and derision, but is based on 38 years of dealing with latinos, both in my country and others, officially and socially.
The Mexicans’ll be late. Look for a 12 minute meeting.

I agree. Is this another Obama appeasement ploy? He is the sorriest human to ever occupy the white House.

And then they’ll need a siesta, and after the siesta, a pot break.
