I’ve spent some time studying in Germany, and I can’t agree that in Germany at least, there is a common “raging antisemitism that boils just under the surface.” Every German I spoke with about WWII acknowledged and was ashamed of the Nazi era and the Holocaust—and bent over backwards not to be offensive to Jewish people.
I do believe there is raging anti-Semitism amidst certain left-leaning elites...the kind who work for Amnesty, but in Germany at least, I saw a very serious sense of national remorse for the sins of their fathers.
This is why they are called Am-Nasty International.
