It was members of the Drug Cartels doing the kidnapping. IE - Gang members. Why are you defending the actions of Mexican Drug Cartels ?

I’m for any entity that puts a stop to criminal actions.

Not everything we read is true.

That part of the story got dropped real fast. It was not on the Arab news report that Breibart linked. It should be obvious that these poor migrants did not have the money the Drug Lords demanded. Just look at the image of them blindfolded, hands behind their backs and dead piled across the ground. They were poor. They probably were given the choice to pay for their trip through the Zeta controlled area by mulling drugs or killing Mexican Drug Cartel targets. There have already been reports of young illiterate Mexican kids from Juarez being brought into America for killing. Another report stated that one Drug Gang in Mexico was using attractive women as assassins within Mexico.

Not for mass executions. Would rather have a secure border.

Has our buddy Presidente Calderon, who lectured us on our immigration policy, expessed an opinion on this incident?

Let's predict: he'll accuse U.S. gunmakers.

WHY were these people killed?

Don’t the gangsters get paid AFTER they bring the II’s across the border?

You don’t know they paid anyone to end up murdered.

You’ve lost your humanity.

I’ll guess you’ll have to live with that.

As far as “nads” go, you’re welcome to come say that to my face.

So, you trust that illegals who paid coyotes (who pay either the Zetas or the Gulf Cartel for passage rights) to ferry them into the US were coming here to not commit crimes (of course, aside from the crime of entering a country illegally)?

Interesting. And do you consider yourself to be “politically conservative” and not an “open border” supporter?

As much as I loathe, detest, and despise illegal aliens of ANY ethnicity, I would not wish this outcome on any human being.

Mexico is rapidly devolving into a narco-state, reminiscent of Columbia in the late 80’s. Not a good thing when they’re sitting on our southern border, actively encouraging Mexicans to violate our immigration law by crossing illegally into the US. It’s going to get a whole lot worse before it gets even marinally better.

When my wife and I got married (she is originally Panamanian, but now a proud US citizen, with two step children in the US military (one of them to be soon back in Afghanistan)), we spent our honeymoon in Chiriqui province in the area that includes Boquete.

That part of Panama is great (just don’t head for Darien in the south). Some people call it the “Switzerland” of Panama. Don’t miss the flower festival.

My father-in-law (he is now 85) was in Panama (the city) when the US invaded in 1989. He was educated in the US (Missouri). In fact, his father, who was a not-rich farmer in Santiago, sent all 11 of his children to be educated in the US.

Noriega had a “Dignity Battalion” headquarters down the street. The US military set up a guard post near it, so they did not try to cause trouble and infiltrate back.

On New Year’s day, Raul (my father-in-law) spent much of his time going back and forth to their post to keep the US soldiers updated on the most recent scores in the bowl games.

As a result of that invasion, that country is heading to being the Central American version of the “Asian powerhouses”. Mr Bush has done some things I did not agree with, but the events in Panama are not among them.

When my stepdaughter was married in Panama (to a Canadian), we were driving to the reception. My wife made the comment that the invasion was one of the best things that had ever happened to Panama. (She knew Noriega personally, and said he was one of the most detestable individuals she had ever known.)

The total silence from our Canadian friends in the back seat was remarkable.

Defending the murder of unarmed men, women and children is not the high moral ground no matter how hard you try.

Conservatives don’t justify murder because it inadvertently gets the results they seek - a stop to illegal immigration. I take it you’ve heard of that thing called “the ends don’t justify the means” thing? And when people start justifying immoral means to get the ends they seek they become inhuman - and become capable of great evil.

Ring a bell. I hope so.

Now bugger off.

So, when the collective monies from the coyotes are given to the drug cartels doing the murdering, coupled with the additional monies the illegals may give to save their own lives once they realize they are in jeopardy, do you not think these same murdered illegals helped kill others?

Bugger off yourself. I have no compassion for criminals seeking to commit more crimes. When a criminal takes out another criminal, I don’t cry.

So you admire folks who go and shoot a bunch of poor people who were fleeing leftist dictatorships in South America?

Yes. And had these people made it to our border and attempted to cross it illegally, I would have had no problems with them being gunned down by the Border Patrol or by other means. We have enough illegals infesting this country. We do not need any more.

“Pretty sad when messican drug lords do a better job of keeping our border secure than our own president.”

Make that plural, “PRESIDENTS”, this has been going on for YEARS. We have the laws.. we just need someone who will enforce the existing laws.
[No one deserves to be gunned down like that and who knows what these people were told.] If someone had the balls to enforce the laws and the hell with the voter backlash, these might not have taken place, if we had secure borders.
