PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state's controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations' human rights commissioner.

The U.S. included its legal challenge to the law on a list of ways the federal government is protecting human rights.

In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is "downright offensive" that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.

The President of our country and his administration denounce one of our states to the United Nations for enforcing our laws that were passed by our elected representatives. This is beyond the pale. This is truly disloyalty to the United States bordering on treason.

It IS offensive to include Arizona’s law.

Because you KNOW that it will get a bunch of attention when you have african illegals living and pooping in cardboard boxes in Italy...but...

oh my, America wants to check the status of people living in their own country.

POUTRAGE!

It is a violation of the Constitution. The UN has NO jurisdiction. I despise Obamas policies and plans for destroying America.

The UN should be investigating human rights violations in Mexico. Look at what the Mexicans do to the Central Americans. How about all the torture and human rights violations by Mexican police.

Gov. Jan Brewer is to be commended for her stance in protecting the citizens of her state.

The State Department is home to some of the most traitorous slim hiding in the government. It is time they are hunted down, exposed and punished for their crimes.

FUBO!

FUUN!

Liberals are despicable.

Is the State Department going to complain about every country to the UN human rights commission that enforces its immigration laws against illegals?

I can’t believe this administration has made it a human rights issue over asking a foreign criminal for his passport and visa when this is common in every country in the world—especially after he or she committed a crime!

It sounds as if Obama wants to start a war between the states and Feds and the citizens. He solves nothing but stirs up trouble constantly.

Obama is the first President to send such a report to the Human Rights Commission criticising the US. Dubya refused to send the UN the report on human rights citing the fact that many of the third world nations sitting on the committee were the worst human rights abusers on the planet. He knew they were going to use the report as a political football.

If this is a bad dream someone needs to wake me up. do these liberal nut-cases understand they are digging themselves into a hole deeper and deeper each day? why do they not care about elections? elections that are two months away? it really concerns me that they are so blatant and uncaring about what is to come, unless they have plans that will interfere with the coming elections.

That's my fear. They know that citizens are angry and fired up yet they appear unconcerned. Why?
