For those who may wish to say, "Draft dodger!", I would like to remind you that this was a long time ago, and he is a Republican. Grant it, a Hollywood Republican, but nonetheless, I Republican who is not ashamed of his country, and makes to apologies for it.

I rarity in Hollywood.

“Rocky” is on my top ten list ... all time.

Saw the movie a few weeks ago...was great. I give him lots of credit...Rocky Balboa, Rambo, and Expendables...a trio of knock out greatness in a row from Sly. He still has got it.

Is this the same Stallone that is intimidated by The Jerkinator?

OTOH...I don’t think Stallone has apologized enough for “Stop, or my Mom Will Shoot”....I don’t think he can apologize enough for “Stop,or my Mom Will Shoot”

I saw that interview and was very much impressed. I’ve never been a Stallone fan - not that I didn’t like him but was never attracted to his work. Because of that interview, I intend to see that movie.

The movie was pretty good, some good action scenes, and certainly worth seeing. I didn’t see much if any “America is great” patriotism though. Barely mentioned America at all. This was strictly about a group of mercenaries for hire who go and kick bad-guy ass. Could have been from any decent country, basically.

"Hate-America pusillanimous Democrat politicians, with whom I hold no allegiance whatsoever America Apologize Too Much"

Fixed.

How about for those of us who wish to say, "Gun grabber!" instead of "Draft dodger!"?

Hated every movie I ever saw him....I just don't enjoy him.

Except Cop Land.....the guy stepped up to the plate in that film. I had to respect him: he did a great job.

My top 5 Stallone movies:

1. Rocky
2. Copland - IMHO, Stallone’s best work outside of Rocky.
3. Death Race 2000 - It’s a cheesefest, but a highly entertaining one!
4. Rocky II - Doesn’t have the same charm for me as the original, but it’s still a very good movie.
5. Lords of Flatbush - always had a soft spot for this one.

Honorable mention to Cliffhanger. It’s not Shakespeare, but it’s a pretty good action flick.

Least favorite Stallone film (of the ones I’ve seen) would be either Over the Top or Cobra. (Didn’t see Stop or My Mom Will Shoot or Rhinestone).

It's like the Islamophobia thing. In other words, many Americans are afraid of Islam. And the liberals want us to apologize and capitulate about our uneasiness about Islam.

Well, a religious and political ideology that promotes slavery, lying to nonbelievers, forcible conversion, and the oppression of women seems like something we should discriminate against with fervor.

Well, the Los Angeles Times hates all Republicans, Christians, conservatives, and especially hates Cowboys.

Believe it or not, it used to be a normal newspaper. But now it is not. It used to represent Southern California and, Western America, and all the freedom loving people who live in it — but that was long time ago and it is now very very far from its roots.

That’s why it hates Sylvester Stallone, and all the movies he made, anything that has Apple pie patriotism in it, it hates the troops, and even it hates America.

And that is also why it is still holding back Barack Hussein Obama’s videotape where he says such good things about his Palestinian and communist buddies.

Too bad that no one else in all of America has a copy of this tape.

By the way, it just is a coincidence, I was watching a Sylvester Stallone movie yesterday — “Assassins” with Antonio Banderas. Stallone did a pretty good job, at least he was trying hard, and I enjoyed the movie.

Also again by the way, I met him once in LA, and he seems like a really nice guy.

When O’Reilly asked Stallone if exploiting such patriotism was the intention behind the film, Stallone laughed and said no. He said it was a movie where “good guys…take out the trash.” After pausing he then said: “It’s pretty simple, [if] you’re bad you’ve got to go.”

Works for me...
