“The system was introduced Tuesday. When at the school, students will wear a jersey that has a small radio frequency tag. The tag will send signals to sensors that help track children’s whereabouts, attendance and even whether they’ve eaten or not. “

I’m sure many young parents will MARVEL at the technology being used to “make the world a safer place”. This is how DUMB some people are. Teachers wil LOVE it too so they can be even LAZIER.

And it was “FREE”!!!!

LOL!!!

“Sung Kim of the county’s employment and human services department said the system could save thousands of hours of staff time and pay for itself within a year.

It cost $50,000 and was paid by a federal grant.”

Oh how the government would like to spend MORE of your money to TRACK YOU. Supid ... .

What a bunch of baloney!!

Tracking devices for PRESCHOOLERS!!!

All so that the staff won’t have to mark on paper attendance and whether a child ate or not??? Really???

This is going to save time??? So that the workers can surf for porn like the SEC??? What do these people do that this is too much trouble for preschoolers??? I wouldn’t want my child in this school if seeing that the attendance and if the child ate or not is just TOO time consuming for the staff.

Your stimulus money paid for this $50,000 dollar BS for training preschoolers to get ready for the real world of the Zombification of USSA.

Blech, barf.

a but load of parents of abducted children may differ in opinion from those who think big brother is coming or even possible.

the government is not coming to take you away.

it is your retarded neighbors who vote rat, and the statutes they pass; not a tracking device that is voluntarily worn and easily tossed.

most cell phones today are already gps traceable, as is this unit i am writing on.

The old-fashioned method requires having responsible adults who actually know the names and faces of the kids. These electronic systems will allow them to hire irresponsible adults, who are cheaper.

“and even whether they’ve eaten or not. “

When did that become a function of schools?

They are preschoolers?! Wow, before you know it, babies will be chipped in the hospital :( For all I know, they may be doing that somewhere already.

“and even whether they’ve eaten or not. “

When did that become a function of schools?

School lunch and breakfast?

I think there are federal programs for that too!

I just wonder how they determine if they’ve eaten.
